Cowboys fans are unanimously wish us good luck with TMM at fullback, I don’t remember his performances there but I’m assuming they weren’t too flash.
They tried it through out 2018-19 to fit him into the team and he was very poor there. Struggled positionally and with the physicality of the position. He didn't really bring anything to the position either.Cowboys fans are unanimously wish us good luck with TMM at fullback, I don’t remember his performances there but I’m assuming they weren’t too flash.
Like you are all jizzing yourselves that we are going to play this bloke who tee’d off against cup teams last year. TMM don’t get me wrong won’t be amazing. But Selwyn at this stage in his career is atrocious (at FB). Like new level ATROCIOUS at that position. He has no lateral movement, no ball playing ability, little support play, no game awareness, no ability to play within a structure both defensively and offensively and the inability to set and communicate about defensive structures in the line. The only thing Tesi doesn’t do of them is defend well structurally. He doesn’t do any of them amazingly but he does them. I can tell you TMM does a lot of those things better than Selwyn. We have the most error prone player in the comp from the wing at 19 years of age and you guys want to chuck him at fullback. Poor **** isn’t ready and won’t handle it and in a matter of weeks TMM will likely be up to speed.
ThisI reckon this match is Kevvie's last stand.
We need to win this, and we need to win it big for Kevvie's vision to have any credibility. There's no "just a few more weeks" or "we're heading in the right direction." This is it.
This should be our easiest match of the season, or near enough to it. We're coming off two games where we matched genuine premiership hopefuls and for large stretches looked the better team. We have our best player, our second best player (according to BHQ) and our hatchet man returning. Adam Reynolds, Kotoni Staggs, Corey Oates and Selwyn Cobbo are starting to form combinations and fire. We have no excuses.
Broncos by 20+ or I'm off the Kevvie train. If we lose again, bye bye Kevvie and take Alfie and all your assistant coaches with you.
If we lose this I feel we’ll be playing the tigers for the spoon.I reckon this match is Kevvie's last stand.

How he handles the replacement for Tesi is a big question and will show his ability to manage a team.I reckon this match is Kevvie's last stand.

Yep. He should be treating this game as do or die. If we turn up with a mentality like Parra have against Wests, he's a goner.
I think my memory of him back there would be like Mbye has been at fullback this year.Cowboys fans are unanimously wish us good luck with TMM at fullback, I don’t remember his performances there but I’m assuming they weren’t too flash.
This is the match where Flegs gets up off the mat as the music swells. On the hatchet man, how many weeks are we expecting Flegs to be suspended for and at what minute will it occur?

There purely for ball playing in attack with minimal ability to break the line from his running game.
Suspect under the high ball and clearly not his best or preferred position.
My hope is that maybe Kev is just going through his options before making a decision or potentially he's considering TMM on the bench in case he wants some coverage during the game.
I think Kev has been quoted as saying that it's unfortunate for Niu, but it will be a great opportunity for Cobbo to get some games back there. I think that quote was probably straight after the game or at least before it was known how long Tesi would be out for.
One thing I was thinking to assist with transitioning Cobbo to fullback was having Mead on the wing, but they switch between defensive and attacking sets... or at least Cobbo is aware of Mead being there if he ever needs a break (fitness wise).
We cant do it yet with Mead's injury though

Which is why I think the argument of 'well, I'd rather Martin cops the heat' is extremely weak. I've got no issue with coming up with alternative arrangements but the Broncos ought to play their best hand first.
Could be done with Herbie also.I think my memory of him back there would be like Mbye has been at fullback this year.

You could but I think defensively that might be too much chopping and changing. You could do it with Herbie though.
