edit ^ lol beaten.

i wonder how hala is going? how many weeks has he had back in q cup? if andersons only going to get 15 mins i'd much rather that 15 mins was from an explosive player like hala. although obviously he has to be 100% and proven ready to go.

Well we got lucky against the Tigers with Parker, maybe it will happen?

Hi. new to BHQ land. Glad to see a healthy following. With the Raiders game think they'll come out guns blazing but we'll weather the storm and get another win under our belt. Go the Broncs!

PS. Just heard T'eo got a couple of weeks suspension....?

Coxy will excited about this.

Wallace is out of the Raiders match with a groin injury. Hunt will be halfback with Baptise on the bench.

Dunamis Lui trained in Teo's place.

Just to confirm...

BRONCOS halfback Peter Wallace's bid for a NSW State of Origin jersey has been stalled by a groin injury which will force him out of tomorrow's night's NRL clash with the Raiders.

Wallace did not train with the Broncos this morning with interchange specialist Ben Hunt running the entire session at halfback.

Youngster Kurt Baptiste trained with the NRL squad, indicating he would replace Hunt on the bench.

Dunamis Lui trained in suspended Ben Teo's place.

Interesting. Waiting for the bagging of Hunt a la Anderson and Copley from the usual suspects :P

Wallace is a big loss but I have faith in Hunt. I know he has only been coming off the bench but he looks a better player this year. Looking forward to seeing Lui get a go as well

I know this is a hypothetical question. But, what if Hunt has an absolute screamer. Will that put pressure on Norman?

Excited to see how Hunt plays, hasn't been given an opportunity in the halves for a long time and he's come a long way since then.

Obviously Wallace is a huge blow but my interest in this match just improved ten fold and I like how many U20 Grads are playing. It's almost like an '08 rematch.

Was finding it difficult to get excited about this week's game but the new personnel has done the trick. Delighted that Baptiste will get a game - I hear he's been in cracking form in the Qld Cup.

Hunt has been much better than last season - we've actually looked better with him on the field at times than with McCullough. Even though he gets a starting spot due to injuries it's more than warranted. Keen to see how he partners with Norman.

I guess this will be a good test for both players.

For Norman, he'll finally have to take more responsibility with no Wallace to help him ease into FG.

For Hunt, he'll have to show Griffindor that he still thinks he should be in the running for a halves spot with a great performance.
