How's Kurrell been going these last couple of games? Still lacking discipline or is Ayshford still there just out of stubbornness?

Havent watched as much of their games as I'd like, but from what I've seen Hurrell has been decent without setting the world on fire, much the same for Ayshford, relatively reliable, no offensive game to speak of.

If the Warriors think Lolohea starting in the halves is the solution to all their problems then they are in for a huge shock

I'm sure they don't think that. But it would surely be an improvement on Robson.

Maybe our resident Warriors fan Mt Smart can chip in if he's around?

Tui Lolo at 6, Johnson at 7 is a massive improvement over SJ at 6 and Grandpa Robson at 7.

Still need a disciplined effort from their forwards to lay the platform. If they keep cutting corners they'll still struggle.

Sheck pulling his thumb out would help though I suspect the shake up in the halves may increase his opportunities.

I wonder why Green keeps naming Granville to start, then moving him to the bench before kickoff ... does he really think he is fooling anybody

Awful.

He's looked completely lost everytime he's played and is prone to making errors. It looked like a dumb selection on paper and his performances so far haven't altered that view.

The decision to play Hurrell and Leuluai as forwards is right up there with Taylor's decision to play Farah & Cherrington off the bench.

Same reason that Brown does it each week with Levi and Randall. They think they are too smart for everyone and are playing mind games.

It's pathetic.

Maybe Granville doesn't fit in jersey 14 - or vise versa. Haha

Its actually pretty common for starting players to want to keep their jersey whether their playing off the bench or not. It's a pride thing, as well as players being sentimental about their jersey number.

Who comes in for Chambers? I'd assume Tofu with a shuffle?

I'd imagine it would have to be Richard Kennar. He's the only centre they have left standing after Curtis Scott, Jeremy Hawkins and Cheyse Blair all sustained injuries.

Craig could be tempted to play Tonumaipea closer to the ruck and go with a Tumusa or Vunivalu out-wide otherwise he may have to go with a Harris, Proctor or Kenny Bromwich out-wide.

My upset of the week is the Tigers with no Woods to take down the Storm, I reckon they'll be fired up. and I can't see how the Storm are going to defend their edge attacks with no Chambers.

Big Pete said:
The Bulldogs have a fairly tough road-trip ahead of them, with a five day turn-around to New Zealand to play the Warriors.

Meanwhile Melbourne have the Tigers at Leichardt on Sunday.

I think both have upsets written all over them.

I tend to agree (apparently).

The Tigers played their worst game of the season against Newcastle. Everybody saw it, there was no hiding from it and now Wests have to front their home crowd in conditions that typically suit their style of play. Outside of that game and the second half against the Titans, the Tigers haven't been that awful this season and for whatever reason they tend to spook Melbourne at the best of times. Apart of it has to do with Robbie Farah who loves going up against Cameron Smith and really makes it a mission to out-play him. The other reason is because Melbourne can't go with a team that doesn't respect their defensive line. If Wests can heap on the points and hold their defensive line they're a real chance.

I also don't think Woods is that big a loss. Don't get me wrong, he's a quality player and he'd be a fixture in my representative teams but last year his absence actually brought the best out in others. Players like Seumanufagai and Sue demonstrated they could handle his work-load and it allowed the Tigers to play up-tempo footy.

I could be alone on this, but sometimes I think forwards can be too selfish. I'd much rather a forward who can make 12 really good hit ups out of 16 than say one who can make 8 from 22.

Call it the Brad Meyers theory.

Parcell and Lawrence out of tonight's clash.

Leary and Fonua-Blake come onto the bench.

Just on Addin Fonua-Blake, he was one of the best props coming through the NYC in 2014 - every bit as good as Sam Lisone and Joe Ofahengaue. Unfortunately in 2015 he assaulted his ex-girlfriend which left the Dragons with no choice but to let him go. The Sea Eagles swooped in and Fonua-Blake has repaid them with some great performances in the NSW Cup.

Parcell injured? Channel 9 said that Manly have gone with bigger bodies to combat the Eels pack, but Parcell hasn't looked uncomfortable at all so far.
