Gamble saying he's happy to be playing, should be I'm extremely lucky to be playing again.

He is wearing the jersey worn by Wally Lewis, Darren Lockyer, the coach and the current head of football, and he thinks it's okay to show up to a game looking like the class clown. The club is pissing over its legacy trotting out this conga line of mediocrity.

Would he get a game at any other club, and how desperate would they have to be? How did we get ourselves in this position?

Yeah, **** it. After watching the Storm, Penrith and even the Cowboys over the weekend, I'm so tired of having to watch a bunch of nobodies trial for our spine week in, week out. We're never going to get anywhere near a premiership until we have 3 of 4 players in our spine that are Origin standard, and at least one who could captain the Kangaroos.

Reynolds showed us this round he is in a class above what we've become accustomed to in our spine, and he's one foot in the pasture. This is going to be yet another year of us being collectively pissed off with our coach and everyone in the team, simply because they've spent too much money on forwards.

Tell me about it, nothing can please some people. Our team is great as it is, and I have faith that they have the talent to get the job done. **** the haters!

At least he puts in while wearing it. He might not be the most naturally talented guy to wear the 6 but at least he has a crack while he's out there. I think some of his predecessors have insulted my eyes and 'produced' far worse to disgrace the jumper.

We should have someone who doesn't look and act like a complete fuckwit on the field, who is a lock for Origin and who every other club wants to poach. When we have that, we might win a premiership. That's been the case every other time we've won.

See that's what I'm getting at. The club has become a special school where we give a gold star for effort, rather than the cream of the crop. We will get slaughtered by the Storm, and we will all be calling for the coach's head. This is how we all know the season is panning out.

Yeh sadly with the introduction of the Storm, the Cowboys and the regeneration of the Titans (and soon to be Dolphins) that's a lot easier said than done.

Sadly, the days of us being the pride of Queensland are over. Kids have their eyes and their egos set on playing for far 'bigger' teams.
