POST GAME Round 9 - Broncos vs Panthers

Saw the replay of the Tamou no try.

That's hasn't been a try for a long time.

He was facing the opposition goal line and it was a loose carry. They have always ruled that knock on.

It's the commentators living to watch every game and they still don't know this shit? How can these so called experts be so fucking clueless?

They cry for consistency but what they don't realize is that the video refs are consistent with those types of situations.
They sometime do justify it with "l understand that is the rule but l just don't like it."

Excellent reasoning.

The Broncos bias is thinly veiled at best. There's no conspiracy here, the proof is evident week-in week-out.

I still think the Panfers first no-try was legit so no bias from me. Still the better team by a fucking mile.

Trust me when I say this, fox footy was extremely ordinary tonight. Anasta had a hard on for the panthers the whole game
Still beats Hadley any day. And Ray Warren last week.. Either he's well past it out he's really racist... Both Blair and essesse got called Thaiday. Like.. Wtf

Apparently the crowd was only 21k last night ...that is incredibly poor for a Broncos match. In fact I'm not sure they've ever had a crowd that small

One of my concern's was most of our tries were long range tries, which could've been defended if the opposition played to standard

Only 3 of them were.. And what does it matter?

A few times.

They have had smaller. Most recently Round 22 2009 vs Sharks where they only had 20k.

Long range this week, silky passes from Boyd to Oates last week.
Don't think we scored 1 long range try in 2014......But then again we had Hogman at 5/8, didnt we Griffen.

Scored quite a few long range tries in 2014 actually. Who could forget Gillett's 95 metre try against Manly on a sunny Sunday afternoon at Suncorp?

Our problem wasn't our attack.

Couldn't understand how they awarded Moylan's try, ball clearly bounced that rarely happens unless the player forces the ball down with some force... Seems the bunker is.just becoming more random

It was a clear no try and there was sufficient evidence to overturn it if they looked hard enough. In two angles, you can see the ball come away from the left hand and hit the ground.

And here is the ridiculous part about it.

Last week in the Macca no try, his right hand comes away from the ball but his left hand doesn't. But they rule it a knock on saying he didn't have sufficient control.

This week, it's different. Moylan's right hand comes away from the ball, but they rule his left hand never left the ball so therefore sufficient control and try.

Did you watch the whole game?? We hit hard and believe me.. We would have stung badly.

The second half is my main concern. There was one instance when the panthers prop pushed off pretty much 10 attempted arm grabs. It wasn't good

The problem is actually the channel 9 commentary team. They start it. Always. Every week. They drive the narrative of what gets talked about in the media for the next week.

Especially Gould. He's the worst.

Wish I still could afford Fox footy :(
Fox are just as bad, if not worse, these days. At least Channel 9 don't use their TV shows AND their social media to shit all over the Broncos.

That'll pass as the season gets on. I also don't mind being hated. Means w are winning

Hope someone told Gasnier that he got the margin right but the team wrong....Penrith by 14 my fucking arse....dickhead tip.

Ennis was about the only one who picked Brisbane (can't remember who the muppet in the middle was who changed camps and tipped Penrith after Gasnier's 14 points
comment).

Fox is better than 9, and anyway I mute the tv and only turn the volume when it goes to the bunker or if we score (just to listen to the commentators praising us through gritted teeth!)

Two points and an all time hangover

It was Gordy who decided to change his tip
