Haha, exactly what I wanted to happen. It would have been amazing if he slotted it and ran away jumping in celebration to disappointed team mates.
 
I wouldn't worry.... He would never be able to get here to sign a contract anyway, as planes don't fly in the rain.
 
Daniel now on Facebook saying we aren't getting Inglis...What happened Daniel?
 
I'll take a leaf out of Tedeschi's book and offer the odds:

$1001.00 - Mundine told him not to.
$500.00 - Souths refused to release him.
$250.00 - Justin Hodges told him that the coach sucks.
$100.00 - Things change bro.
$2.00 - His management was just trying to get top dollar for him from Souths.
$1.05 - Was never gonna happen.
 
He read this thread and realised we were getting the biggest signing in the clubs history instead.
 
I've pretty much got my entire body in the "Inglis is (a little) over the hill and is about to start tumbling down soon" train. He just doesn't seem to have the same mobility/agility as in the past this year. Still think he's the best fullback right now, but it'll only be for a short time.
 
THE Brisbane Broncos players don’t think Greg Inglis will be at the club next year. They know he will be. Fullback Darius Boyd has been told GI will be playing in the centres.

He'd probably remain effective in the centres for a while yet. Similar to Ferguson - just pure power game. But don't want him anyway.
 
Will take it seriously when someone other than Buzz Rothfield writes it.
 
Inglis running outside Milford would be epic. Anything to piss Jack Reed off. The bloke burns more tries than he lets in ffs.
