I would imagine the Titans would throw a fair bit at him and they would have a better chance of signing him.

The Titans backline really lacks X-Factor and skill apart from the halves which and both are genuine game breakers. Besides from Sezer and Kelly the rest aren't that much and are just solid first graders and dropping one and adding Hunt will add genuine flair, ability and X-Factor to the team that they need and plus the fact he is settled on the Gold Coast and won't have to move back to Brisbane.

And we've got Barba and Milford (currently) and going to take a shot at DCE and Hodges, Hoffman and Vidot our backline is coming together and won't need someone coming back from another code.

well chris garry did say on his live blog dis-afternoon that his mail he has is its inevitable that khunt will be a bronco next year.

thats a little worrying to me as i dont see where he fits in

If it comes down to money I don't think hunt will come back to us. Surely the Titans are going hard for him. They need a fullback badly.

i hope so im worried though as imo chris garry doesnt get much wrong if he doenst know somthing he normally just says its his opinion but this time hes saying the mail hes got is its basicly gonna happen regardless. i hope its not true as i doubt khunt will be coming cheap and i just dont think we need him unless milf backs out

Hunt can play anywhere and if it's about money he will go to the titans. IMO if he comes back to us it will be because he wants to play for us again and not money.

I think with his ball playing, I'd have him in the 2nd row (after he bulks up a bit... but not McDonalds style). With Barba or Milford playing at fullback, back row is the other option for a 2nd receiver, kinda like Wade Graham or Luke Lewis.

If not that, then centres, like Lyon.

This is all assuming BHunt keeps improving too.

That being said, I'm with you AP, just not for the same reasons. I think KHunt is a very good player but I just don't want him back. I hope the Titans give him an offer he can't refuse, we don't need Hunt.

above is the post from his live blog not sure were he pulled the 600k from perhaps its just a guess though.

in any case im not doubting khunts ability but where do u play him if milford comes he would be wasted on the wing. and if its any were near that money then its just uneccessary. i guess perhaps if ben hunt stops improving and becomes average then khunt could replace him

I've said this before, I'm sure, but here it goes again.

Reasons I don't want KHunt in the club...

1. We have two fullbacks who are at least as good in Milford and Barba, so no point.
2. Do we really need a centre? We have Hodges, Reed, Copley and Hoffman who can play there, I don't see him as a worthy upgrade
3. Do we really want to pay a huge amount for a winger when we have guys like Vidot, Maranta, Hoffman or Copley who can all play there?
4. He's being trialled at 7, he was pretty useless, he wouldn't be any better than Hunt IMO and I wouldn't take him over Milford or Barba at 5/8
5. He could play second row but he'd need to bulk up a fair bit, and do we really need more second rowers? We have enough backrowers, all very good too.
6. If he's on the bench, he's not worth it. Which bench player is worth over half a million a year?

I couldnt agree more broncosspwn i guess we just hope titans offer him a bucket load he cant refuse because honestly i wouldny be happy with loosing any of our current squad members and then some for khunt to return . and hes what now 28 this year? means might get 2-3 years max out of him before he really declines

That's a solid backline. Theres no where for K to fit in. I would rather invest in our youth and get another prop
