[Rumour] The Hunt for Karmichael's return to Broncos.

He can fill in 1-6 and 9 easy so utility role of the benchwould suit him, come on and run amok in the middle, like a origin utility.

wing isn't a bad choice, he's played there before, he gets to do kick returns and his jumping for the ball must be the best int he comp with his afl experience. Also he is 10kg lighter so he'd faster too.

The only spot I could see him play is at centre. We've got Barba at FB and Milford in the halves next year so he's not playing in any of those positions and I don't think he'll come off the bench either. I can't see him wanting to come back to only be a bench player.

If Hodges comes back and remains injury free (doubtful unfortunately) then centre is also highly unlikely.

I just can't see the need for him at the moment, once Hodges is back, we have plenty of depth at Centre/Wing, Barba is Fullback, Milford is Five-Eighth and B.Hunt is Halfback (At least until we buy a better one)

i can see him as a centre. surely he has learnt how to kick in his time in afl which will be pretty valuable to us. maybe reed can fill the utility?
Learnt to kick? He was one of our best kickers, his 5th tackle options were almost always perfect.

It's an interesting puzzle. Presuming Hoffman leaves, and Ben Hunt hangs on to the 7, the Milford, Barba, K Hunt puzzle becomes interesting. And I think it necessitates Reed moving into the back row too.

1. Barba
2. Vidot
3. K. Hunt
4. Hodges
5. Copley
6. Milford
7. B. Hunt
8. McGuire
9. Macca
10. Parker
11. Glenn
12. Thaiday
13. Gillett

14. Reed
15. Kennedy
16. Hannant
17. J. Wallace

I just don't see why you'd sign K Hunt to play on the bench. You couldn't waste Milford on the wing or in the centres, so really the only options would be to play K Hunt in the backs, or shift B. Hunt to the bench again and have Milford and K.Hunt in the halves (which I would be reluctant to accept).

Looks good, any injuries to the halves and K pops in, unless Taylor, Strasser or Cullen etc stand out.

That backline screams destruction providing BHunt keeps proving and Milford guns it. And depending on how they're coached...

You could probably put him in 17 instead of J Wallace. Hard to find where he "Fits". He's a back rower, essentially, and we've got shitloads of them. Although I do get the feeling Glenn has hit his glass ceiling.

obviously as a club you don't want to be too fast in moving heaven and earth for talented teenagers but if this kid keeps his head in the game so to speak, the broncos might have to make a hard decision on someone in that backrow in the near future imo. Because there's no way you want to risk losing a kid like him.

Absolutely, he's a quality kid, that's for sure. Questionable whether Glenn/Gillett have much more to offer than what we're seeing now.
