I think any high price tag for his is extremely justifiable.
I want Hunt back, I don't care about past situations. He's a talented player and would have gone down as one of the best broncos in history and smashed appearance records if he stayed.
This may not be the case any more, but he is still young and could still lead this club to a premiership in the halves IMO.

why do you think this? did you not see his games where he played in the halves? he was not just bad, he was deplorable.

Rome wasn't built in a day - he had shown the potential to be a 5/8th over his time at fullback. His trimming down and becoming leaner and fitter certainly isn't a bad thing for someone playing in the halves too.

Looks like he is coming back. Not sure how he will go in the halves but it will be good to have him back. The leadership and profesionaliam is needed

he didnt though. i cant understand why people keep saying this lol.
he had a decent grubber and could play his part in the second man play - which was catch and pass. that was it. he didnt and doesnt have a good long (or short) kicking game, he doesnt have a good passing game, and he doesnt have any attacking vision whatsoever.
he NEVER showed ANY potential to be a playmaker. when they did put him in the halves he was ridiculously bad. beyond ridiculously bad.

I don't think anything is set in stone, but using reasonable logic i'd say it's a Medium to Medium-High chance that we'll get him back, with Milford and Cherry-Evans off limits seemingly.

I think that's a pretty good spine, it honestly all depends on how well Ben Hunt progresses and how well Karmichael can return, if he still has the same hunger as he did when he left, and has improved his kicking game, he could be a great Five-Eighth.

I dunno which Hunt you were watching, AP. He was brilliant at that second man play. He knew who to pass to, knew how to draw defenders in, and had skills to throw a cut-out or a grubber kick.
If he comes back and doesn't make it in the halves, it won't be because he lacks the natural skills. It'll be because it involves more than just finishing plays, which is why Barba, Milford, and even Hayne are preferred to be attacking from fullback.
