Re: Dally M Positions

So we start with one genuine prop and one lock playing at frontrower while facing two gorilla props who happen to be the Australian frontrow combo ! Griffin may yet prove to be a genius but I'd have a bit of size upfront to absorb the punishment before having a ' mobile' frontrow replacement.

In their defense, Tamou hasn't deserved a rep jersey in years. The only reason he makes any metres is because he has long strides until he hits the defense and either offloads or gets tackled ridiculously easy.

Credit where it's due - Griffin has 2 wins from 2 starts so far. There was talk we wouldn't win any of our opening games. Looking forward to the Roosters match. That will be a good test to see how we are travelling.

The 2/2 start has basically bought Griffin the rest of the season, if we don't make the 8 though, he's probably gorn.

I think i voted for Carty as they now have an easy transition to Henry

I've noticed people voting for Hasler because of the forward recruitment.

He made a smart move.

A successful team needs a great forward pack, and the Dogs have the best forward pack in the comp now.

They'll be fine.

I voted for Cartwright.

If I was Matt Elliot, I'd sack myself .... those blockheads are uncoachable

A bit off topic but I will never figure the Warriors out. How many coaches have they had? 10? 20? Only Ivan Cleary had them playing anything remotely resembling consistent footy.

With news the knights members are going to overthrow tinkler, i can only hope wayne comes home regardless of griffins success or lack there of this year.

now some of you may be griffin fans others not.As you know i don't see him as the man for the job, but with the situation in newcastle at the moment do you think we can miss this opportunity to try and bring wayne back? whether its to groom someone like kevvie walters for a long term position or not, thoughts?

As coast coaching director... Yes

As head coach... No, I think it would really se us back, we need to be able to move on from him.

If we were to get him as director would that mean you would still be happy with griffin running the show? Personally I'd like to see Wayne back for maybe 2-3 years as head coach then transition kev in

I was dead set against Bennett coming back before his Newcastle deal as I thought both the club and he had moved on. I'm not so sure now. I have a feeling Bennett and the Broncos will cross paths again.

For the present, I hope the club sticks with Griffin. The team's opening performances have convinced me we're building to something. Maybe all the adversity we went through last year have glavanised the coach and playing group. They seem like they're playing as a team again. It's awesome to watch.
