I'm beyond even trying to defend him anymore. Still can't use a bench, that is simply amazing.
I literally can't get my head around that.

Hey our defense sucked last year and it is a lot better now! He probably wouldn't be the worst option.
 
we were all jumping for joy when we were on top of the ladder after one round.

we were showing signs in attack. when copley was at centre he ran hard lines at angles and busted through holes. maranta supported him. hodges dont do that.

we were forgiving of hoffman in the hope he might improve. he hasnt and he's probably gone backwards and i think after 6 rounds its pretty clear that enough is enough.

early on our forwards were running together and using the ball. that seems to have stopped again.

i accepted parker at prop to begin with but it is clearly NOT HIS GO.

bench use just has not improved and is going backwards now we are killing the opportunities of a boom youngster by not even giving him a run

maranta was dropped when it should of been reed. but reed is one of the 'favourite sons' crew so.. you know.. we know copley is a better centre than wing.

Just watched this pathetic coach we have and his post match presser from tonight...

Way too much emphasis on the titans being #1 in the comp, they clearly won't be there for long, who is he kidding. We should have won comfortably.

"our general effort and the way we went about our game was terrific" What the **** is he watching

"I thought all night we built a great platform" - Yep, one up hit ups and bomb after bomb is building a great platform alright

He has no fucking idea, absolutely useless as a coach.
 
I just heard a story on Triple M Melbourne's Rush Hour about AFL coach Malcolm Blight throwing a VHS tape at Geelong forward Bill Brownless because he was distracted by something off field and it cost his team a goal and the tape was the replay of the moment that he just got done showing the team.

Can you imagine Griffin being that passionate about disciplining our side? Fucking never.
 
I was jumping for joy because we looked like playing with some variety and tried to create stuff but tonight we went back to the one out rubbish.

A platform to shut up shop and grind out a boring win. Problem is one mistake can cost you the game. Can we just get rid of Griffin already.

Kearney is our defensive coach and defence is not our problem. Our piss poor attack and Hooks inability to see negatives in his favourite players are costing us. Not even Kearney would have played Hoffman at 5/8

it's not even a question of who is coach of this or that, the buck starts and stops with the head coach ... the broncos' structure and cohesion and creativity with the ball is so unbelievably poor that it's compounding the pressure on their defence ... so it won't matter who or how good your defensive coach is, if you're putting absolutely minimal pressure on an opposition when you have the ball, that is going to put your defence under huge pressure
 
I don't know if its the coach or the players. But it seems the Broncos just play to the oppositions capabilities, play bottom 4, they play shit as. Play top four, they tear shit up.

A more biased opinion, I ain't seen shit of a change since last 2 seasons. Is it coach who chooses Hoffman as 5/8th? No matter who we sign, I write off any season Griffin is in charge, he has no idea.
 
Something to think about...

When judging a player's capabilities during training, you're limited to judging them against whatever opposition is available. When doing certain tasks, drills, etc, they can only do that against their own teammates. What if the players that seem the best at training only seem that way because of the calibre of who they're opposing? As in, Hoffman may tear it up at training at 5/8 only because our defensive patterns suck and make him look better than he really is? Barba still looks lethal because he can get outside our slow players. Does that make sense? So extrapolating that, even though during a game people like us think we can see where players would be better off (Hoffman to wing), during training it doesn't seem to be the case.
 
Even if we had won that game 8 - 6 I'd still be disappointed in the way we attacked. After showing a willingness to attack a bit more we go back to that crap. We are just setting ourselves up to beaten in the last 15 min, we have proven over the last 2 years this style is enough to keep us in games for a long time but it's never going to achieve anything but mediocrity.
 
I've slept on it, I'm still angry. **** OFF GRIFFIN.
