He's right though, looking at the defence shown by both sides, Hunt still needs to develop in a lot of areas. But yeah, he might have already been at that stage if Griffin didn't dick him around.

His career is still being stalled by being forced to play as our sole genuine half. I'm sure any team finds it much easier to play both their left and right hand sides with 2 halves and not one, and, as well, each half can focus on their part of the game plan instead of trying to doing both jobs at once.

Maybe the added role Hunt has to play is good for his development, maybe not. It certainly isn't for the team.

But then, there's always the back door: miracles can happen

Bennett constantly said stuff like that when he was at the Broncos... In an effort to keep players down-to-earth.

People need to ignore what coaches say to the media, as 99% of what the say is BS/PR

If what they say should be taken as Gospel, then I pity Ricky Stuart, since every time his teams lose it is the refs fault.

Been sayin it for ages now; Hunt should have been the Halfback beside Lockyer in 2011. One can only imagine the kind of player he'd be now with a full season playing along side Lockyer.

the biggest question here is how many of us would be happy if we finished 4th? because by all reports if griffin gets us to 4th then his job his garanteed. im not saying i wouldnt love us to finish 4th its just a odd situation isnt it. and if we do finish 4th does that mean griffin is a better coach then any of us fans give him credit for? :hail:
