great 2 points to get. The young blokes stepped up... Wish they didnt let the cows back in but showed some grit to come through with the win... My mom was norman... Loved seeing kemp back in broncos colours and could turn out to be our major game breaker... Loved tonight... Woooo

Just disappointed we let in those 24 points as we had done so well until then. It was all Thurston, bloody amazing work from him.

Norman, Beale, Anderson & Gillett were brilliant.... Gillett in particular, his work rate, the speed he gets to his feet and his footwork, I knew what he was capable of from norths but I expected him to take some time to adjust... he was awesome...
Anderson is the sort of prop we really needed, no fuss, tough bugger...
Beale has really bulked up and read the play quite well...
Normans calmness and confidence is the most impressive part of his game, he didn't rush himself, very imprerssive... defense was somthing i was worried about from him and he really stepped up...
On a whole the side clocked off in the 2nd half off the back of 2 incomplete sets and lack of concentration the game got away from them, lucky in the end to hold on.... The first 15mins they really showed they had been working hard on defense in the off season and communication seemed to be there for the most part... Payne had us shot multiple times around the ruck in that period too and marker defense will need to improve.... Folau got very lazy towards the end of the game and tonga ran rings around him... Cowboys defense was pretty poor most the night so I'm not going to read too much into it and being a young sides the kids biggest problems will be consistency from week to week....

Successful start for the Broncos .... now it's time to get realistic ... This team will struggle to win more than 10 games this season imo ...

What a game, Norman was unreal he is the real deal. Forwards were pretty good except for the lapse of about 15 mins... Dodds did not do much but I am sure he will get better. Gillett he is a star for sure.
I don't know about the rest of you but I sure am glad DENAN KEMP is back.. Did you see him go , Kemp has the ball shut the gates. He left a trail of fire behind him I love you Kempy!!
