Meh, prices go up every year with everything in life.

If you wanna be a season ticket holder, that's the price of good seats unfortunately.

So CPI rises 5% and tickets go up 33 to 52% and you say prices go up, meh. [icon_thumbs_do

If you sell out a stadium and have a wait list you can charge exhorbant prices but they have something like only 15,000 or so members isn't it.

Don't get a ticket then?

Seriously, I agree with you guys it's **** but to act surprised that they've risen AGAIN, like they have every other year... Why waste your time?

I'm incredibly cynical by nature as it is, I am of the belief that all this hoo-haa will result in a big fat nothing yb the club and you will be left with the choice of, paying the price or not going.

The point Renegade is a $10 to $20 rise I can handle (not agree with [icon_wink but handle ), but we are talking massive increases here. Yes the club will probably not listen as they never have in the past, and yes I have a choice to make and a short timeframe to do it in.

I'll admit, I don't know what Pad Thai is off the top of my head ... but if it was good quality and not too expensive ... you'd make a fortune ... and the Broncos/Suncorp could recieve their flat rate payment from you to rent your space for the day.

I understand the annoyance on here regarding the changing of categories adding huge prices to season tickets and agree that renewing members should be able to renew at the same level ie blue not maroon. However we are DieHard members in the south-west corner sec 307 and ours tickets are only going up $5 to $170. And if you want somewhere to yell and screem and stand up when you get excited well our area is the place to be it is getting louder each week and everybody around us gets into it. So instead of saying thats it im leaving how about moving to another section coz whilst this is a rort it is still more important to still be going to the footy each week even if you move somewhere else. Just create your own oranage army section sit in the back few rows stand and go wild!!!!!!!! They cant kick you out for supporting your team!!

Ohhhh nice. I think there is, wink wink, a couple of certain people (about 3-4, I believe) who definitely won't move, and I can tell you that you will be pleased by this.

Awright... it seems that a concern about actually getting a decent block of seats to move into among a few other things (including me possibly ticket-sharing with someone else next year due to changed family situation) means it looks like I'll be hanging in 319 for the time being. For next year, at least...

That's exactly where I sit, and there's heaps of people around us that aren't moving next year, so you'd have to check available seats.

Hubby and myself had season tickets this year for the first time, usually just rock up on game day whatever seat . Had the best year, 6 rows back in western stand , went to every game and it's made us even more passionate fans . Seen some great action, G8 to see the players up close and hear all the hits ,anticipate the play , that unbelivable parra game with king locky I'll never forget. we've renewed for next year upgraded to gold ,doing the povo thing in installments. My only only gripe is the entertainment . Love the mascots but what about some real stuff like a band/singer ocassionaly . Been to several grand finals and it's always so lame , surely our money can go towards something other than the cheerleaders .
