The Three Amigoes (aka Coxy, Tee, Flutterby) are contemplating our futures tonight. One option is a corner move too. We will discuss the outcome of our AGM in good time :P

Do share by PM the outcome of your AGM guys [icon_wink , otherwise now Mick's not moving and haven't heard from any of the others in the group, I think the boys and I might end up sitting in a corner by ourselves

Russo mate - prices are staying the same for 320!

If cost was your only big reason, then there's no need to change.

Have you seen the new season ticket book Mick eusa_think , my reading of it and the letter attached is the area is now a maroon zone not blue therefore the price increase, though Sylve probably get's the info for you guys still does she :P

How is the seating structure on the western side any different? I look at the below map which is current for this season and it looks identical to the map proposed in the online brochure for next season?

If you click the above link and go to page 9 it's completely identical!!

Just as an aside this map is actually wrong now compared to the one on the season ticket renewal form / booklet. [icon_wink

hmm so are prices in 320 going up or is that only for renewing members? I'm confused...

Going up, see page 9 320 is now maroon, therefore $395 for an adult

I see the midfield seats 321 / 322 are now gold not maroon thus an increase as well.

Will look funny looking over that side of the field and hardly anyone there in 2009 as reckon many will move or not renew

You should go to the paper. The Courier Mail will eat that up.

Actually good idea. icon_thumbs_u

Note sent to Courier Mail just now, will see what happens.

Make sure you reiterate there was no consultation, no thought of fans who had held those seats for a number of years - just a cold letter with 2-3 weeks to renew and pull an extra $200-$300 of their arse.

Just sent a story idea suggestion to them and a link to this discussion, so they will read all above. icon_thumbs_u

Thing to remember is that it is only the Eastern stand fans affected. Not the Western fans that have always paid the huge prices the club has charged

The only possilble reason i can think of the upgrade is the club no longer sees the afternoon sun being an issue with the majority of home games being a friday night. The Eastern side is directly affected by the sun but with the high number of friday night games that's no longer an issue - so they can bump the seat categories up.

Bastards.

Sylve apparently got confirmation that it will still be a blue zone in section 320 from next year!

Uh huh.

What's ticketek's number again? I'd ring and confirm that myself!

Yeah, wouldn't want the shock of being charged $396 for a Maroon ticket huh?

Verbal confirmation or something else?

I might just give them a call myself when I get my hands on my renewal notice. It'd save me about $150 which would be welcome

Supposedly got a letter today in the mail offering those renewing by set date the chance to renew at blue zone seat prices as you have said Mick. Will be classed as Maroon zone still and new members and those not renewing in time will get the higher rate, no doubt the maroon rate we will then have to pay in 2010 as we have now been pre-warned.

Well done to the Broncos if this is the case for 2009, but will still have to consider my options in view of this initial attitude that the club has had IMHO.

And the fact that for 2010 you can guarantee they won't let you get the cheaper rate.
