He backed that up with a similar weak effort for a Waqa try.
What about the last try by Blair? Looked like he gave up on running before he even put the ball down.

Norman has some skill but has a pea heart.
Maranta has a big heart but is fucking useless.

However, I'll pose this question to you guys. If the rumours are true and Bond + Kahu sign elsewhere, what do we do?

Hope we sign Barba or at least Locke. Hope Copley and Yow Yeh come back strongly. Just a lotta hoping.

We should sign Barba and Locke. Lets try Locke at 5/8, can't be worse than Prince.
Even if we just have Locke at wing, imagine the speed our team will have with Hoffman, Barba and Locke as our back 3.

This is what we should do: We pick Lockyer and stand him near the corner posts. He doesn't tackle, pass or kick. He just directs the team around the park with a megaphone or something like it. That'll take care of our lack of on-field leadership.

Yeah, or get him to pilot Wallace around with a Nintendo controller, like in Ghostbusters.

I don't have a solution for the fullback position either, but I have a massive one for "anyone but Norman":

The other players in the team see that a guy who is leaving the club, has a crappy attitude, lacks effort, and yet he is rewarded with a starting spot.
As a coach, I would put anyone else there but him, to show that I will not compromise with attitude and effort on the field.

We may not get any results from it, but I want someone there who is willing to learn, gives 110% and leaves the field with the tank empty, and I mean anyone!

Couldn't agree more. I said it a few weeks ago half as a joke but I would sooner have Hala at fullback, at least he would give his all... Would probably be faster too

Can't shift Hoffy back there - FMD we're already persisting with fucking Maranta on one wing because our depth is shot!! If we lose our other winger to FB we're well and truly fucked! Hoffy MUST stay on the wing.

I've been saying this about Norman ever since the day he signed - **** the useless **** off. He's dragging down the rest of the team. He does NOT epitomise what the Broncos jersey is about so he can **** right off. Play anyone. Pity we don't still have Capewell around. Who are our other options? I don't give a **** who it is, but I'll fucking scream if Norman gets another game.

Which he will, next week. FMD. The fact that changes aren't even being TRIED is what shits me the most. Are the powers that be at the club honestly that pig-headed that everyone can see it except them? *sigh* Fucking depressing.

Kahu to FB, Kemp to wing would be a good start.

Maranta cost us 18 points (attack and defence) last night

40-4 LOL I've never seen a more lopsided poll on Broncoshq

40-4

Unfortunately it would have to be Hoffman and I say unfortunately because he has become a gun winger. I just have no faith in Griffin/Gee to have any other kind of contingency plan.

Lachlan coote seems to be the most obvious recruitment answer assuming no Barba

Liked what you said about how we will view this side or the Griffin era. Can imagine in 10 years time down the pub having a laugh with mates as discussions such as "remember that McCullough clown" and "remember that game against the Storm when that bronco winger bombed 50 try's" At least we will be able to laugh about it then.

I'd like to see Kahu at the back

Same.

Really, we have nothing left to lose.

True. I would also say we have everything to gain.

With more room and time, and responsibility, I think we would not only see the best of him but give him invaluable experience in a range of areas which can only help develop his talent
