SOO Teams 2010

I like the idea of playing Prince at halfback and Cronk at hooker. At least when Prince shows he's completely unable to play at Origin level, we've got Cronk ready to take over first receiver duties.

Queensland actually needs a bit more variety than that.

Cronk at hooker is the worst idea ever. If Thurston and Smith can't play, it should either be Friend @ 9 and Prince @ 7, or whoever @ 9 (Friend/Ballin) and Cronk @ 7.

when all of those players are at their best, Payne is the clear standout. without him the cowboys wouldve struggled to win a single game over the last few years. hes almost as important to them as Thurston.

but hes only played 2-3 games this season iirc?

i wouldnt even consider Friend for the origin. Hes, IMO, just one of those 'handy at club level but nothing more' players.

We spoke on msn about the qld side and i cant fault it at all, its the team i would pick too.

Nsw is a bit tougher, they really have no option on the wing apart from morris. ur team looks like the best they can conjure up tho.
 
Tonga on the wing? i know folaus been going good in the centres, but Tonga is a class above him, especially in defence, and should get the centre spot.

Worked OK last year when Folau was out and Hodges played centre with Tonga on the wing... (think that's how it went down?)
 
Yeah and he became ineffective as soon as he played wing. Tonga is a gun. He needs to play centres.
