This is the dumbest thing, ever. I love it how they just can't confirm anything and then freaking Crowe turns up to stir the pot even more.

I'm all for standing our ground and stuff, but if we walk away now, we're going to look pretty stupid.

No we won't.

We will just say, that we weren't going to be held to ransom by a team that were/are cheating the system.

Not in the sense that we're walking away from signing him, more so that we've already used him to secure sponsorship deals, memberships, etc. We should have confirmed it all before we went off and did that. It's unprofessional IMO.

Anyway, we don't even know what's going on. Hopefully he'll be playing for the Broncos next year.

There is something I don't understand.

When we acquired Inglis, it was under the condition that Melbourne Storm will release him right? So why didn't Bruno say "Ok, please put on the table all the conditions that must be met before a full release of Inglis is given.." Melbourne would then list all the conditions and then Brisbane would then negotiate.

So how is that we get to this situation now? Why on earth have we not got pen on paper MUCH earlier? Someone please explain this to me.

Exactly. It's amazing we've allowed ourselves to get into this position.

This whole Inglis thing is stupid.

Including the months of speculation before he was announced as coming, and now this. Far out.

Broncos have withdrawn their offer.

Any links anywhere NP101... I believe you I just want to read the BS around the discussion.

As bad as a situation this is after all the drama I guess this means we have the option of playing both Gillett and Te'o(one in the centres) in the starting side now and keeping Thaiday and Parker starting as well. On another note is there anyone of note left on the market? anyone???????
