Tardy Blues brush bushfire kids

Beat me to it Fozz. Plus all the idiots from the NSWRL comp were convicts. We didn't want them in our utopian society here in Queensland.

Now you're either just fishing or being a chronic retard, or both.

BTW: Round 24 home crowd averages

NSW teams: 20,234
Non-NSW teams: 12,042

Guys come on, league in NSW is dead! [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1.

12,042 was the crowd at the only game in Qld Rock - You can't get an average from 1 game mate

Plus it was against the bottom team in the comp and according to you it is ok to get sh!t crowds against sh!t teams

So if it was a 30k+ ground attendance for a Broncos game you would be saying the same thing? I don't think so.

That wouldn't even be part of the conversation if it was a 30k+ crowd at a Broncos game. Rocky would never bring it up [icon_wink

Mate I'm not exactly sure what you mean here - All I am saying is that when people have tried to bag NSW crowds in the past Rock always brings up arguments like 1 team is running last so that is ok.

I reckon it is great to see over 30,000 for a club game in NSW, especially on a Friday night. I wish it would happen more often but where have these crowds been all year???

I am just bagging out the idea that a 1 game average of 14k compared to 30k would have a different opinion from a QLDer POV. I am not getting into the argument on NSW vs QLD crowd averages, as I only care about getting more bums on seats to Rabbitohs games.

It is great and wish there was more as well. I can't answer the 2nd question but not enough day games is a major factor IMO, because I can't understand why people can't get to games. Friday and Monday nights are terrible to get to the footy in Sydney as traffic is a nightmare at the worst of times on Friday afternoon from 2pm till 8pm, without the added traffic flow of a sporting event.

The human body continues to twitch for hours after dying sometimes. Ask Gymp.

Its true, the NSWRL has being dead for at least a few hours now. The twitching will stop soon and the rigga will set in.

To me this is just an argument to reduce Sydney clubs. If there was just St George-Illawarra, Bulldogs, Eels and one more, the crowds for Sydney matches would be massive every week.

Instead we have wastes of oxygen like Roosters, Souths and Cronulla ensuring bugger all support for our game. Those three should be booted out immediately.

Hey Rocky

If that was the Broncos v Titans up here, it would've sold out by now, even if Suncorp held 70,000 people. You fail.

Bulldogs getting 40,000 to a home game as well?

Because you could get in for free!!!!!!

Yeah, if you were an islander! [icon_lol1.

And what has paying got to do with it? If people actually WANT to go to the game and they make the effort to commute to the stadium, then they're showing their INTEREST in the game. And if you've got that many people showing interest in a game that isn't even that crash hot (Warriors were shit house) then don't you think that that's an indication that the interest in the game is still high and that league in NSW ain't dying?[/quote:30hy2lx0]

Yeh but what good does it do if people will only go to a game if they don't have to pay for it? It was a good publicity move by the Bulldogs for sure but the telling factor will be if the non-paying fans actually realise how good it is and start paying to go to games regularly.

Face it - You've still got clubs on life support down there and it hasn't reached this point before. You can't honestly say it's improving!!!
