So perhaps with these figures everyone can finally just drop this stupid subject?

Sorry...didn't realise that you were actually agreeing with my side of the debate. Maybe...just MAYBE we have 1 Queenslander in this place that isn't so ignorant on the subject.

Sorry, I just can't buy that Rugby League down their isn't in trouble when there are a few clubs up shit creek.

LOLZ ok. A "few" clubs is exactly right - Out of the 10 that are in NSW. Oh noez, league in NSW is dying! [icon_lol1.

Support and interesting in the game is high.

4 is a few...and there's 4 too many clubs in Sydney. So what's your issue?

Financially 4 of the 9 clubs in Sydney are dying. Parra, Sharks, Manly and South Sydney (without Rusty propping them up).

So you're right, it's not dying, it's just 44.4444444% of its clubs are dying...

No, but unless those 4 cancers are removed then it could spread to the rest of the "body"...

Clubs (Businesses) dying and rugby league dying are 2 different things Coxy.

Provided that the support for the game and interest in the game is still high (which it is) then League will never die in NSW.

Now your just splitting hairs.

Ok. You QLD'ers have lost this one fair and square. Tales between legs, walk away.

And Coxy, Aeeteearoa a is more Kiwi than me.

Well let's say the Broncos folded, I would probably still follow the game but I wouldn't go any buy a season ticket for any other club, and I am pretty sure 95% of the 10000 Broncos season members would be in the same boat, as would plenty of supporters of the Sydney clubs. Obviously leads to loss of revenue through ticket sales, merchandise etc. If clubs die, the game loses fans, and that's crap, and it's what looks to be happening in Sydney at the moment.

Oi bro your club's got no money
And I was like, oh nah we do for shit eh
And then he pulled out a gun and went chk-chk BOOM!
And that's all I wanted to say.

Rocky you forgot to mention the bumper crowd at Brookvale last night where 10,500 people showed up to watch a game between 2 traditional rivals.

icon_thumbs_u to RL fans in Sydney!

If the Sharks didn't win last week they would've stuggled for 7,000.

Plus they were playing the Warriors, all the cuzzy bros came up from Bondi.

2 traditional rivals? ROFL. You mean, a dead ordinary Roosters team on a Saturday night time slot?

So this is a good enough excuse for a crowd of 10k, but 16k is not good enough for a Saturday night time slot against a dead ordinary Souths team?
