I hope there is some thought in the coaching camp about eventually moving him to the no.6...... Cobbo to no.1.
NaaaaI hope there is some thought in the coaching camp about eventually moving him to the no.6...... Cobbo to no.1.
Head gear will not stop concussion .What I don't get is he doesn't wear headgear.
That's obvious, but it can atleast help a bit with some impacts.Head gear will not stop concussion .
It might help stop you splitting your scalp . But concussion happens with sudden deceleration of the brain within the skull . Head gear can`t stop that .

Nope .That's obvious, but it can atleast help a bit with some impacts.
There is if the winger is on 600k.Naaaa
Keep him as a winger for a couple more years. There's no rush on this transition.
Anyone who wants him fullback so early in his career are just trying to manufacture a new Latrell.
Nothing wrong with us having a standout winger for a few years.
Then why does it exist?Nope .
Cuts, cauliflower ear, other soft tissue injuries, outdated science. Then why does it exist?
I just look at it as padding that can soften impacts but not prevent outcomes even if it's minimal, like a bumper on a car absorbing some of the force.Cuts, cauliflower ear, other soft tissue injuries, outdated science.
From my limited understanding concussion/ CTE occurs when the brain bounces around inside the skull which headgear obviously can’t prevent.
I fully understand what you’re saying and it seems logical. I think most people would share that view but from what I Understand the science just doesn’t back it up. Even NFL style helmets don’t work to minimise brain injury.I just look at it as padding that can soften impacts but not prevent outcomes even if it's minimal, like a bumper on a car absorbing some of the force.
That might be different because there is no crumple zone on the outside being solid, though it does have padding on the inside, but I haven't seen the science so what do I know.I fully understand what you’re saying and it seems logical. Oh dude. You realise headgear does absolutely nothing to protect against head injury. At best, it lessens contusion injuries like cauli ears or glancing blows on the faceWhat I don't get is he doesn't wear headgear.

We cannot have another situation where we let our future fullback just up and go
We lost Coates, Walsh.. Selwyn Cobbo is potentially better than them both, if they want to invest in one, I reckon he's the right guy to take that risk with
Then why does it exist?
