The big difference is Tesi isn't a fat lunk on $1 million a year who refuses to take ownership of his role in the team. He's a kid playing the toughest position on the field, who's busting his guts in training, wants to be better, but has not (yet) developed the game awareness and a couple of the crucial skills to be the fullback we need. We've already replaced him.
Tesi might be on the rise; he might have hit a ceiling. No one is planning to poach him for a million dollars. But Milford circled the drain as we fell from premiership contenders to wooden spooners. He deserved a good chuck of the blame. Thank **** he's gone.
