I reckon we need 350 at the very least to give ourselves a good chance. We may well knock them over for less than 200 in the second innings but if there's one thing Ricky Ponting-captained sides don't know how to do it's deliver the knock out punch.
Clarke has had a shocker this test, both times he has been out it has been all his own doing. Punter played the ball he got out to hopelessly and Hughes is always going to have a high chance of getting out early with his lose technique. I do hope we get to see the best of Hughes in the next test.
Obviously a lot will depend on the partnership between Longbottom and Bong.
Great to see Norm Snackers return to form - the swing returned and there were shades of his South African series in his 6-38.
Poor old Hare, his horror run has continued, but you know what they say about champions? Bong was written off a couple of months ago and he has bounced back. Mynoff is so down on confidence at the moment and the tide of public opinion has certainly turned against him.
