His interview on triple m this arvo was brilliant. Very honest and open, said the roster will change this year he guarantees that and he plans on speaking to all players individually before pre season to tell them what's expected of them. Was a really good probably 15 minute interview. Up on the triple m website for those who want to listen.

Thanks for letting us know it was up there, I wouldn't have found it otherwise and it's a good listen. Couldn't get it to work on the triple m website directly so here's a link for anyone else with the same problem. I'm really impressed with Kevvie so far.

Whether the board were split in anointing Kevvie as head coach or not, one thing is for sure and that is as a long term fan that religiously follows the team and has spent over thousands of dollars on tickets, merchandise, etc, the last 2 years under Seibold has made me disillusioned and disconnected from the team so much so that this year made me feel spite against a lot of the playing group. I haven’t been to a live game since the 2018 final against St George so I never went to a game under Seibold.

The board finally swallowing their ego and going with the obvious choice and with Kevvie actually coming out and addressing the obvious and at least sounding like he will be making everyone accountable and responsible for the mess we find ourselves in has at the very least made me want to sign up for a 2021 membership now and make me want to attend games again.

All Walters just needs to prove to me in the next month is that his quotes were not just lip service and he follows through on his statements and I as a long term fan will be willing to spend money on the club again.

What he plans on doing is what the club should have done after the 2019 finals embarrassment against Parramatta where Paul White came out and said big changes would be made and said how this should never be allowed to happen again yet here we are 12 months later in an even worse position where no changes were made and mediocrity was allowed to be accepted.
