$500k per year for 2 years is a bargain for the club, but a bit disrespectful to Walters considering he makes more as a SOO coach and compared to what Seibold got paid with a bonus goldenshowerhandshake.
Agreed, it looks terrible in comparison. That said, just because Paul White and his incompetent mates massively overpaid for the most recent turd Isaac Moses rolled in glitter it doesn't mean we should keep making the same mistakes over and over again. When Kevvie takes us to our next premiership the board can approve a handy topup as thanks.IF it is true, it is a joke given Seibold was on like 800k or something to destroy the club and he is being paid just over a quarter to rebuild it.
But hes entitled to after all he's played one first grade game more than most of us an ansolute flogMate Kent went off his nut. Completely unnecessarily as well. Just cracked the shits majorly
Pretty sure I heard him say something like “these guys have never won anything except a wooden spoon” when talking about Boyd and the guys celebrating him. Boyd’s won a couple of premierships, genius.Mate Kent went off his nut. Completely unnecessarily as well. Just cracked the shits majorly
Bird is about 95% sticky tape at this point anyway. If we swapped Bird for a half-used roll of sticky tape, we’d get more value.
We must be getting a pretty sweet deal from our supplier on sticky tape with Bird and Kahu alone.Bird is about 95% sticky tape at this point anyway.
Norman is a massively over paid non performer...surely they wouldnt be stupid enough to even consider him returning...then again...hold my beerI am worried that Kev will recruit someone like Ash Taylor. Possibly Corey Norman. Potentially Ben Hunt. Maybe Moses Mbye.
If we swap Bird for Hunt I'd be okay with that.

No way Kevvie gets paid $500k for the Qld gig$500k per year for 2 years is a bargain for the club, but a bit disrespectful to Walters considering he makes more as a SOO coach and compared to what Seibold got paid with a bonus goldenshowerhandshake.
I'm not convinced he would go down that path unless the deal was substantially in our favor, he would have been keeping a well placed eye on the past two seasons and seeing the issues the present spine possesses. The last thing I think kevie or any coach of any substance would want to do is replace underperformers like Croft or overpriced ones like Milford with hot and cold players, that doesn't solve the issue at hand.I am worried that Kev will recruit someone like Ash Taylor. Possibly Corey Norman. Potentially Ben Hunt. Maybe Moses Mbye.
If we swap Bird for Hunt I'd be okay with that.
I wouldn't call Gentle a very, very experienced coach though.....I get pur need for experienced assistants with Walters as head coach, but not sure how Griffin will go with 2 very, very experienced coaches around? A few losses and things could get very prickly/tense
I wouldn't call Gentle a very, very experienced coach though.....
as a head coach, you're right
but as a coach in general, he is ... he has been coaching since 1997
It makes you wonder if he pulled Seibold aside at some point and said, look mate you aren't getting through to them, try the basics for a while.
