I'm sure they're thrilled.

Love their nickname for him, AK47 - because that's the most ground he'll make in any given game.

Kafusi is rubbish, i'd rather pick some Q Cup dude.

Pfft I dunno. Haha who do you think it'll be?

Mose Masoe. Hopefully Milford and Vidot have been in his ear in camp and whenever Milf is around them. With him, we are scary. We need to scare the opposition. I know it wouldn't happen but I think if he was still around, Petero would still be dominating.

Is Milford hanging out in the Samoan camp?

Why isn't Milf in the samoa squad again? Is it because he played in the U20 Origin for QLD and was in camp for the Maroons?

Yep thats it, he will be starting pre-season training tomorrow.

from what i am hearing mose masoe has done a deal with the tigers, by releasing gavet it freed up enough cap space for them. Im def not keen on kaufusi though....

Milford doesn't have to be fine. He just has to be better than Hoffman at 5/8th.

He'd be on heaps in England. Plenty of clubs would have been after him before he signed his last contract. I doubt losing Gavet has freed up much at all.

I'm going to spare the Co-Captaincy thread of another Bennett tangent and share my thoughts here.

I'll be very interested to see who he chooses out of the squad and what the reaction will be.

I'm going to assume that if he goes with either Parker or Hodges, there won't be any dramas.

However, if he goes with Thaiday, who was openly criticised by the fans for his lack of leadership, I'll be very interested to see what kind of reaction he will receive.

In my view, he's better off sticking with either Parker or Hodges. I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, so I'm probably missing 60-70% of all the work the captain does, but the impression I get is that if he does return the captaincy to Thaiday, he'd just be rocking the boat for the sake of it.

And it would only add to the list of controversial changes he's made to the club.

Now we can go through each one, and I think you'll find I'm pretty checkered with each decision thus far but on the overall scale of things - I do feel a lot more comfortable with him at the helm. Sure, paying Kennedy overs to go play with the Roosters doesn't sit well with me but if he's trying to build a culture that everyone can buy into then I'm going to go along with it too - probably more so than a Walters, Parish or whoever else was suggested as an alternative.

Put it this way, I like that Wayne has an opinion on everything at the club. Prior to his return, I felt like the Broncos were very inconsistent in certain areas and had a 'don't sweat it' sort of stance. Bennett has a vision and while it isn't a 100% to my liking, I can envision it being successful.

I do wonder if while Bennett is in charge, we will manage to sign a top prop, because i'm sure by now, every prop in the game knows Bennett doesn't pay big money for props and they would get far better money elsewhere.

Will we even have to?

Maybe a journey man is enough while the NYC players develop.

Food for thought.

If they are only coming to line their pockets we don't want them anyway. Prop is a pretty simple position when coached right. We don't need big money props, we need big guys with the right attitude that want to work hard

According Chris Garry, it is most that Bennett is going to see how we do in the forwards (Like Ofahengaue and our other young props) and then if need be try and get a prop transferred mid season.
