Well guys it is fair to say that most on here wanted a change of coach and we got WB. It is blindingly obvious we don't all agree with everything he is doing but I wondered whether you would give him a pass mark with the shake up of the squad as a whole not just on one single decision?
I am probably sitting at a happy of about 80% and am optimistic about next season

The thing is, apart from moving on barba for Boyd, pretty much none of the good releases have been bennetts doing.

Hannant and Kennedy had been given their marching orders already by griffin. Milford had been signed. Garbutt must have already been in talks given the timeframe.

Based on what?

Kennedy and Hoffman may have requested to be released but previous attempts had been rejected.

This statement is both rubbish and wrong. Those players were named in the team to face the Cowboys in the elimination final. If Griffin gave them their marching orders why did he pick them in the team? Letting them play first grade is a funny way of saying 'you're not wanted.'

Kennedy and Hannant left the club after Bennett arrived.

Haha are you tired of making shit up to benefit your argument yet?

Wow you guys dead set must have had your heads in the sand all season lol. Both of them were dropped by griffin to reserve grade for the majority of the year, and hannant hadn't even received an offer for 2015 or beyond.

If the rumour that Kennedy signed with the Roosters for minimum wage with us covering the rest of his wages, the I strongly disagree with the decision. But I was in favour of us releasing him otherwise.

I strongly disagree with releasing Barba (if that happens)

I'm happy with the Gavet signing, could us the aggression we lack

Milford signing excites me (but wasn't made by Bennett)

He should have sacked Kearney Imo.

Langer and Walters signing as coaches, I'm not really sure about, but they could certainly bring some pride back to the jersey

Boyd signing is a bad decision and I strongly disagree with it (but I think you guys knew that already )

I will be spewing if we lose Barba....the only reason possible reason I could accept releasing him is if we were going to sign Folau

With you pretty much all the way, but I might be slightly more pessimistic about Walters, and if Boyd is coming then releasing Barba is the only choice.

They were dropped for form reasons . . .and then they were recalled and played a fair few games. How is that 'giving them their marching orders' like you claimed? I would have thought to give someone their marching orders is to say there is no place for you in the team moving forward. . . kinda like what Bennett's doing now isn't it?

Hannant played 21/25 games.

Kennedy played 16/25 games.

That isn't taking injuries into account which I know for a fact kept Kennedy from playing for a certain period of times.

How is that the majority?

Regardless, Hannant was reportedly on the outer prior to Bennett, so I agree with that.

Kennedy was reportedly looking to leave but the club refused to let him go. Same deal with Hoffman.

It was mid season. You don't just release players in June lol. Hannant was never getting another contract with us, and Kennedy had buckleys chance. Bennett took over the day the season finished, he didn't have to field a team to play the next week.

Haha wow. . . just wow, where do I start? How about the fact that Kennedy had played less than a year into a 4 year deal? Why would he want (or need) another contract?

He had buckleys of being with us next year. Griffin didn't want him. He made that perfectly clear. He had a contract but so does barba.

Repeating your points only emphasizes more and more that you're operating solely on your opinion and not on facts.

Here is a fact for you AP.

Kennedy was released from his second year of a three year contract under Bennett.

Majority of the season is AP drawing a long bow....but, they were dropped at one stage for form related reasons.

I'm not sure where I sit in this argument, suffice to say.....I'm not sorry for either Hannant or Kennedy going.

And he would have under griffin too had he not been stabbed in the back. Ffs there were numerous articles before Bennett signed about how kennedys future with us was in jeopardy lol.

You guys are just ridiculous. Next you'll be saying that Bennett signed Milford.

Actually quite the opposite. When bennett signed there was numerous articles stating that he would be staying. In fact one was even entitled 'bennett tells Kennedy, you're not going anywhere' or some shit like that
