Re: Wayne Bennet's 2015 Team Line Up

I predict that neither side of this argument is even going to agree to disagree and both sides will continue to have little digs at each other for the remainder of this season and off season.

and that really is a shame

Re: Wayne Bennet's 2015 Team Line Up

It's good to see your as good as exaggerating and taking things out of context as your mates
Really? Care to expand on that...

- How is it exaggerating?
- What did I take out of context?
- Who are "my mates"?

From where I'm standing, anyone who isn't aligned to suck WB's dick, is apparently put in the same boat by you as those who only bag him, but please carry on with your exemplary objective point of view.

Agreed, I know I played my part so I'm definitely not innocent on my part but I have decided to take a step back from involvement now, it's gone from a valid discussion to just pointless rants from both sides going no where and for what? The past 3 season's have been bitter enough do we really need to add to it?

LOL... have you been to BHQ lately?

According to most people, WB is the Messiah (copyright rnabokov), but you choose to pick on the few that don't view it that way.

The top quote is an example of how you take things out of context and exaggerate. No one has said WB is perfect or the messiah or any of that shit. Some of us, like myself, think that he is a massive upgrade on who we currently have and refuse to believe that he fluked 7 premierships.

How is that calling him the messiah or sucking his dick?

Re: Wayne Bennet's 2015 Team Line Up

I think it goes without saying that there's pros and cons with Wayne returning home.. I'm not going to the trouble of bullet pointing all of them, but in my opinion it's still a step in the right direction from the club. Regardless of your opinion on Wayne Bennett, I think he still has that aura about him which makes players want to play for him, and play well.

We were never going to win a premiership with Griffin, I think that's what it comes down to, if anyone could win a premiership with this current squad, within the next 3 years, it's someone like Bennett.

These are exactly my thoughts.

I'm done with this whole argument and won't say anymore about it, hopefully people will stop taking what others say out of context intentionally but I won't be saying anything else on this subject either way

Re: Wayne Bennet's 2015 Team Line Up

From what I can see, the worst part about WB coming back to the Broncos, is that BHQ will be littered with this shitty discussion/debate/argument for the next 3 and a bit years. No matter how good or bad we do on the field, there it will be, in every thread in some way shape of form.

And FTR - I'm on neither side of the argument. I'm going to let the Broncos' performances over the next 3 years decide my point of view.

Re: Wayne Bennet's 2015 Team Line Up

Maybe we should get back to discussing the line-up for 2015.

This deserves re-posting. Friday night's game proved that it was a time for change. Would have loved Griffin to see out his deal but it is what it is. Is Bennett the right choice? Who the hell knows. He marches to the beat of his own drum. For good or ill, at least we have something to look forward to now that a change has been made.

And the Knights were just flogged, so how does that make Bennett coming a good thing?

Is he really a "supercoach" or was he just lucky to have the majority of the best of the Queensland based talent to choose from and put into the Broncos for the majority of his career?

We should probably let it go now. Stop beating the dead horse and we can move on...

So, what about that 2015 lineup?

1. Milford
2. Hoffman
3. Copley
4. Hodges / Gagai
5. Vidot
6. Barba
7. Hunt

8. McGuire
9. McCullough
10. Hannant
11. Glenn
12. Gillett
13. Parker

14. Thaiday
15. Kennedy
16. Garbutt
17. Oates

You know he did win a premiership at the Dragons and take the Knights to a semi, so he is not just a one trick pony.

G'day Pearl, I meant that management obviously knew we couldn't keep going the way we were and made a change. Whether it's good or bad remains to be seen but at least we have something different to look forward to.

As for your second point, my answer is it's hard to say. There was a time when DARREN LOCKYER was just plain ol' darren lockyer plying his trade in Roma. Was he always destined for the dizzying heights he was meant to? I feel Bennett probably had a bit to do with it. They aren't born superstars.

Re: Wayne Bennet's 2015 Team Line Up

Talking about WB is talking about the 2015 line up.

Yeh but the Knights got flogged so they need us to stop discussing WB until he gets a win again.
