won't comment on whether Butler or Klein will be dropped
Odds on Klein officiating the broncos vs tigers?won't comment on whether Butler or Klein will be dropped
Odds on Klein officiating the broncos vs tigers?
Agree. Plus, aren't there multiple decision makers in the bunker? Why didn't one of them pull Klein up and tell him he was incorrect?Even ignoring the fact about whether a "short whistle" is considered and eligible stoppage in play when a challenge can be made. That will continued to be argued.
How can klein (apparently the best ref in the game) get that call wrong when 95% of independent parties (including annersley) would say it was not a penalty? It was not a heat of the moment call, difficult angle or call made under fatigue which the on field ref may experience. He was in the bunker had multiple angles, plenty of times to replay it and still fucked it up. The incompetence is astounding.
Yep Munster did it one week and everyone said what high IQ footy it was. Turpin did it a week later, got sent to the bin for a professional foul and reynolds told we could not challenge it.So based on that BS explanation from GA you can challenge anything that happens between the previous play the ball, up to the stoppage, so how come when teams are deliberately giving away penalties to create a stoppage, they are then not allowed to challenge it?
Sorry, I will correct myself, why are some teams, allowed to challenge in that situation, while others are told they cannot? There have been numerous times were Munster has deliberately held down a player to force a stoppage in play, only to then challenge something that happened moments earlier. But then when Reynolds does this same thing, he gets told he can't do that?

Haha exactly. There have been many instances where this has happened too. It happened in the Knights vs Roosters game too I think. Brailey tried to give away a penalty, and he wasn't allowed to challenge. But then there have been many instances where it has been allowed.Yep Munster did it one week and everyone said what high IQ footy it was. There needs to be one constant person in the bunker everytime then. Maybe the referees coach or whatever Maxwell is needs to be present each time, and he should overrule BS decisions like the obstruction ruling.I don't think so any more
You're debating the incident which shouldn't even be up for debate as they had no right to challenge to begin with. Under the rules of when a team can and cannot challenge, they had no right to challenge.
Annesley said they had a right to challenge, but disagreed with the decision. Me, I don't care. The whinging about refereering goes on after every game. It's weak as piss. You suck it up. You move on.Dude. They got it wrong.
They got it wrong in multiple different ways.
Pick a different hill to die on, because this one isn't it.
