I do agree about the whinging about refereeing decisions. Its why Its so refreshing to see the way Walters operates. He never uses poor refereeing decisions as an excuse.Annesley said they had a right to challenge, but disagreed with the decision. Me, I don't care. The whinging about refereering goes on after every game. It's weak as piss. You suck it up. You move on.
Annesley comfortable with challenge, not penalty following
Graham Annesley says he is comfortable with the North Queensland Cowboys being able to challenge the contact on Kyle Feldt but not with the outcome of the decisionwww.nrl.com
However, my issue is that the bunker and the challenge system is meant to be eliminating refereeing howlers. But the people in the bunker are the ones creating these howlers now. The refs for the most part do a good job (apart from the phantom 6-agains). Challenging a refereeing decisions is flawed though when there is incompetence in the bunker. There have been many times like yesterday where they simply make the wrong decision. Or other times where there is conclusive evidence to overturn a decision, but they say there isn't enough evidence. Or when they end up reviewing something entirely different and end up giving a penalty for something completely different to what was being challenged.
