You can't blame them for missing it, considering Flegler had his arm across Tupouniua's chest and he had to headbutt it to draw high contact.vs. Warriors Round 23 2021
The decision gave Reece Walsh an opportunity to send the game into golden point but he missed the conversion and a late penalty goal.
This was a week after the Roosters were allowed to challenge the Flegler decision despite head high tackles being out of the parameters of a challenge. The bunker initially missed the head high contact as well until the referee reminded the official to check for it.
When you have to bring out the forensic graphics on the screen to try and justify something, surely you must know you're asking for a tonne of rope.
Walsh looked good in the highlights, bring him back.vs. Warriors Round 23 2021

Hi justification with the little graphic was hilarious. Not even taking into consideration that the tigers player is watching the ball as it's kicked and follows it which is why the line he runs looks a little odd.
The Tiggers player never, ever looks back towards the Cowboys to see who is coming in his direction. He only ever has eyes for the ball. If he seriously moved off his line to impact Feldt using nothing but his instincts and his ears, then he's some sort of Professor X. He's got eyes in the back of his head.
I can accept that he saw it. As for articulating it………..you’ll have to prove it with vision. It is obvious when even Hooper can see it and articulate it.
The way he tried to explain it was like he thought the Tiger knew exactly where the kick would land lol. He's a peanut
