It's about more than just a team. Or any 1 team. More than any player. It's just something special, like this place which is a part of it. For me at least it is. That's why I support the club. The current disaster doesn't change any of that. I am a one club man. This club.

Let him go. These flops have proved nothing in the NRL. Time and time again we see these entitled little ***** think that they are gods gift after the hype they get because they play for the Broncos. News flash: we aren't a good team Any more, you're big news because of the club you play for, not how you play! The best facilities, a huge coaching staff, numerous coaches, 1000's of dollars in development, education and rehab help that other clubs never seem to provide their players. Teo, vidot, hodges and dozens of other ex players who have played at other clubs tell these young pricks over and over how good they have it here and they don't fucking listen. DO NOT PAY A CENT OVER WHAT THEY PROVE, not what they tell us they're worth...

I don't get why people are mad.
First this was the right choice from Dave, who wouldn't take that kind of cash to move down the road.
Second, the Broncos absolutely did the right thing here, and it would have been a disaster if they payed Dave insane money, further fucking our already dodgy cap.

Loyalty would be neat, but better to clean out the guys that don't want to be here now rather than later.
We also have more cash now to lock up some talent where it is needed.
Good luck Dave, you are going to need it at the Titans.

People love getting carried away by the hype train. Yes hes got plenty of 'talent', which is a nice way of saying he hasn't done anything of note yet but he will in the future you bet. If there is one thing QLD teams like to brag about its their 'talent'.

Unless he drags the Titans to a premiership, he will never be able to justify that salary. He will always have a target on his back, added to the long list of names in the 'paid too much, did very little' pile.
