I think people are missing the point. They fired him because after 3 warnings this year alone about getting on the piss, yet again it got on the piss so much that he pissed in his mouth and let someone photograph it.

Pretty sure if he decided to put on a "bubbler" in the street, that would be as illegal.

Surely even the Carney fanbots out there can see that this was indeed the final straw....no so much for the act, but for the number of times he has embarrassed whatever footy club he happened to be a part of at the time.

The Sharks are desperate to rid themselves of bad publicity for a whole range of issues. They can't even attract sponsors at the moment. I think they are a turd of a club but I really don't blame them one bit for tearing up his contract and for that matter the NRL too.

He's become a liability and a complete embarrassment to the game. He's certainly not THAT good of a player to be excused for continually fucking up.

But as he said, if the sharks didn't sack carney, how does Noyce go to potential sponsors and ask for their money when their response will be "are you that club that has the bloke that pisses in his mouth?"
