I voted last, however, if everything said is true; I would still vote 2nd last. I'm no Chicken Little.

FACTS (from what we have been told);
- No sexual assault has occured.
- No unconsenual sex occured.
- No club rules were broken (i.e. no alcohol bans, no curfews)

Therefore, players aren't guilty and would actually have cause to legally prosecute the club if the club attempted disciplinary action!

Very true Hammo. Not getting into the argument of whether the act was disgusting or not, but at this stage, the facts don't show too much do they?

FTR I chose the last one.

Totally BB_77, the thing here is to not judge the act with our own moral radar, but rather if it is illegal or not.

What people do or don't do for their own enjoyment is not for me to judge, until a crime is committed.

P.S. I wonder how many MEN on this forum, if given the same oppurtunity, enjoying the same status of fame, wouldn't take girls up on offers like this.

Fine them and suspend them for the finals series.

The way I see it , there is nothing to be gained by letting them play this weekend. I am a Broncos fan but we are realistically long odds to beat the Storm this weekend. By letting the Valley 3 play, the Broncos are showing a setting an ugly precendent - if it's no-name players they are shown the door, but if you are indespensible you've got the keys to the city (literally).

Tunza and WB have had the send-off they deserve, this game is a bonus.

COST: Respectability of a club that has always been above that crap. None of the players learn an incredibly important lesson about life and their responsibilities in life as a footballer and a really bad culture amongst a certain group of players continues to thrive. Probably do it again in a year.

BENEFIT: A long shot at beating the Storm, Manly and Cronulla to win a premiership.

Think about it

Law != morality my friend.

I wouldn't - especially not with 2 mates.

subsbligh, if they are proven innocent by Police, and if the Broncos are to have deemed them as NOT breaking the code of conduct, then what a blatant WASTE it would be to have them suspended for the remainder of the season.

Seriously, people need to understand that there are TWO different situations here!!

1. The law. -If they are found guilty of sexual assault then the club will sack them. However, they are INNOCENT at the moment, so the club has no right to sack them on those grounds.

2. Code of conduct - If they are to have breached the code of conduct then they will be sacked. However, the Broncos HAVE NOT said they have breached the code, therefore they are innocent at the moment.

THEREFORE, why should be stand these players down?

Firstly, they wouldn't be proved innocent by the police. The DPP/Police will make a call on whether they have enough evidence to establish the relevant offence beyond reasonable doubt. I seriously doubt that will occur - but that's a whole other story.

Secondly, as is, they may not have breached the players code of conduct. I as a fan am disappointed that the Broncos code of conduct would permit the players by the public to permit 3 players to gang bang a girl and be out on the turps 6 days before a major semi.

Thirdly, the Broncos Code of Conduct and the law are not exactly touchstones of morality and the standards expected of each section of society that are Broncos fans.

Fourthly, the truth, as it happened, frist hand witness story will never come out of this so your argument based on the "facts" will always look rosy. But NRL communtiy and the community at large will always place question marks over the incident, whatever comes out in the wash

This is crazy....**** I hope subsligh and 90% of the current posting forum are never on jury duty.

P.S. What crime people? the women consented, until told otherwise....what fucking crime?

Newsflash- Not everyone likes what you like!
Not everyone is offended by what you are offended by!
Not everyone finds what YOU do UNoffensive!

So why should be stand them down then???? No one has given be a fair reason why yet.

On the back of the very fact that there is a police investigation, whatever its merits, into a serious sexual assault that has "allegedly" occured is enough for me.

If, by some marvel of bureaucracy, there could be a fair and thorough judicial investigation into this matter decided before the end of the season and these players are found to be guilty of a serious sexual assault, won't the club look fantastic?

How will you feel about your opinion and the "glorious" premiership then? Or even better if we get knocked out this week and the club was to weak to accept the higher moral standard.

One question:

Why is everyone so eager to hang the players out to dry? Where does the concern for them come into play?

Sure, of what we KNOW so far, it wasn't a particularly sensible or moral thing to do, but none of this is illegal.

On the flipside of the coin, does anyone care that 3 guys from Brisbane could have their name dragged through the mud, something that will stain the rest of the career, even if the rumour is never proven?

As supporters whilst we're disappointed I think we all need to hang tough and stick by the club and the 3 players involved, until we find out more. They would be getting enough grief from Benny , Cullen and the their teamates without us judging them without all the facts. I'm sure many of us have done some regrettable things whilst on the drink but only had to listen to our mates and their opinions , not the whole country and every major newspaper and tv station . Yeah yeah I know we're not "3 high profile nrl players" but still.......

Pffft. Poor boys. You have stains on your reputations (and probably your clothes). You earn more money than most of the punters who pay $50 to see a finals game can dream of. Live the life many dreamt of. And you **** it away like this?

I hope they don't get sacked to be honest. But I want 12 month alcohol bans, banned from Alhambra lounge, and warned that even so much as sneezing in public will have their contracts torn up and deregistration from the NRL.

They have brought the game and the club into disrepute. There is NO doubt about that.

I was at a function tonight with a room full of people I didn't know, now I'll talk and mingle with anyone. But I kept a low profile and walked around just listening in on peoples conversations. Yes yes I know BUT about 80% of them where talking about the Broncos and what happened and not to many of the talks where in favor of the club or players.

And no I didn't win the 5 star trip to the Grand Final. [icon_thumbs_do

I dunno, I just cannot fathom how going on a 12 hour bender the day after a finals match in the week of the most important finals week since 2006 is a brilliant idea.

Yes they live in a fishbowl and yes they have high responsibilities But fark, it's 4 weeks until the end of the season? How hard can it be to drink orange juice for 28 days or so whilst you sit back on your $150k+ salary?

as this story unfolds and i form my opinions around it, im simply lead to believe this lady is simply embarassed about her antics. i doubt if your enough of a hussy to take on a few guys in a cubicle that the line would be drawn at it being filmed. just a way to get some attention and save my face. "omg i was so wasted i cant believe i did that, i hope it doesnt get out on youtube!, no way, i never consented to footage being captured... theres an oppurtunity to perhaps reclaim some reputation, and get some press attention in the process.

i have lost zero respect for the club, perhaps the players, but i mean seriously they are footy players, they are far from heros or role models, and doesnt concern me if they wanna tag team an easy girl at a club. they better be playing this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!

on a side note, not overly impressed on them getting hammered during the finals but couldnt care less about them making amatuer adult flicks
