I think if this happened mid season kevvie would have no hesitation putting cobbo there. But I can understand him not throwing him in now. Even though it would make us stronger in the game then the other options, it could mean pressure cobbo hasn't asked for or needed at this time.

I hope we put Mead there if cobbo isn't ready mentally. Isaako did have good moments but he was overall shocking for the team.

Mead is solid under the high ball, still has speed, enough experience to organise the defensive line adequately, and has that ability to put himself in the right spot, is not error prone. Apart from the speed, these are all the areas isaako is lacking in. Mead won't be great but he might plug the whole well enough that the team isn't effected by missing niu. I don't think he'd have more then 2 games in him there before he started getting shown up though....

Issako shouldn't even be considered for the fullback job.. he lost that jersey last year and has not done anything to earn it back.
Where as Cobbos form at fullback for Wynnum in the finals earns him a shot, Herbie didn't get his chance because Coates got injured and was safer to play on the wing over Nui.
Play Cobbo at 1 and have Mead on the wing just incase or play Herbie there and have Brenko in the centre's round 1.
