You know I hate the idea of Herbie at fullback but not as much as the idea of Isaako or Mead so I’m down.

I think Cobbo's best served standing next to the paint frankly. Particularly during the first month of the season.

Our aim is to get combinations and cohesion across the park as quickly as possible, and ive no doubt Reynolds already has some big plans to get Selwyn over the tryline.

Less sure on the idea of returning to Isaako for the 1 but lets see...

Taafe? went pretty well for the Rabbits when thrown in the deep end at fullback and I think Cobbo is more talented, just bite the bullet and give him the couple of weeks there before Tesi returns. You can always then put Cobbs back on a wing. This way it at least gives him a taste there and we see how he handles it.

Taafe walked into an extremely settled Rabbitohs team. Our team is far from settled with the new combinations this year. The only lock in our spine currently is the 7

yeah but we need a FB more than another center. Farnworth or Lee can do an adequate job in center and we also have mariner, hoeter etc who could fill in.

Niu is injured and Isaako sucks - not many options there. Cobbo brained it at FB for Wynnum in the gf, he's going to be there long term, IMO there's no purpose in delaying the inevitable.

I'm okay with that squad and I am also okay with Cobbo being kept way from fullback under the spotlight, it takes time to get them to where they need to be. There is literally nothing to gain by putting him at fullback in a trial that nobody gives a shit about, what if he has an absolute shocker? Confidence is shot before the season even begins.

Aside from the fans having a cheeky Saturday night fap after watching Selwyn run around at fullback, there is nothing to gain. I'd rather have 2 genuine strike centres and Tesi (who hasn't let anyone down) as our fullback.

The issue I have with that is that if he sinks, there's no bringing him back like it never happened, that's not how confidence works.

He did well for wynnum, no doubt ... but he didn't do the things fans will expect him to in the NRL.

He built his fullback play in the ISC on his strong running game, not a play making game.

People continually complain about Herbies lack of playmaking/passing ... but Cobbo has shown even less in that department.

Right now he should be playing a position he knows well rather than trying learn a relatively new position (especially one as critical as fullback) and continue his development into an NRL player
