I'm not sure how much we can read into this order other than the starting side looks pretty close to what we're expecting round one barring Rendiggiti and maybe Jake and Corey swapped around. Also Mead above Brenko? Not sure about that.

Wouldn’t say replacing one player with our captain and swapping out one other player is changing the team lots.

Same. I'm fine with Corey at 9 and Jake at 14, but I'd get massively erect if Ezra could be squeezed onto the bench, maybe even at Jake's expense but that's probably not real wise.

Truth is, it was never in doubt. If Carrigan doesn't get through a lot of quality work and minutes injury free RK may even start. He's not as poor as some think.

Was thinking the same, but also Jensen and TC have been in 2 trials already so maybe not looking to expose them as much.

Flegler isn't named at all and it's his last chance for a hit out before his 3 week holiday.

Interesting to me was Kobe in the 13... he looked behind Carrigan early in the preseason, but perhaps his trial form has progressed him into the starting 13 for round 1 as a reward

I didn't say they weren't. I was just pointing out that he would change the make up of the team a lot just by the simple swapping of a few players..

Imo keep Herbie in centre, but definitely **** Albie off and put Walters at 6
