In the first Hunt as was last year, our only attacking play was bombs. Pathetic. Hunt was never going to be a first grade half back. Our team does not want to play for the coach. There is no communication or teamwork out there.

There was not one offload from Parker

Hunts kicking game is rubbish, he has literally no organising skills

also what the **** is maranta still doing in a broncos jersey. how many tries do you have to bomb before you lose your opportunity,, apparently alot when your dads a founder... a wingers job is the most straight forward on the field

1: catch ball from kicks
2 : run fast
3 : put the ball over the white line

jesus christ youd think at nrl level we would have someone that can meet that criteria

The most pressing issue out of todays trial was our defense. It was the same as last year. We just leaked tries. Our forwards were running with the typical one out runs. No offloads no short passes between the forwards. Our halves were not great but we knew that was going to be a likely outcome. Our backs got no quality ball but any chance they got they squandered. The fact that Maranta still gets a game tells you where the club is at.

Has Michael McGuire signed anything yet ?

I'd love to be a fly on the wall if / when a decent coach takes over the reigns at this place and sifts through the deficiencies in the old offensive / defensive playbooks.

Let's not over react. Yes this was a trial, yes we were diabolical. However, it is the preseason and that game doesn't count towards our for/against (thankfully). If we put up this kind of performance in round 1 that is the time to panic!
