Decision is up to Locky if he wants to play, depends all on swelling and pain whether he can play or not.
Option to have a guard for him, molded around head gear but specialised for his injury.

5 days isn't a lot of time to get over an injury. Fking BS we have 6 days between games and 6th placed 1st week losers get 8 days to prepare.

Surgeon has a custom mask made for him, I can't imagine him wearing it but if he has to, so be it!

Minimal risk of re-injury or further injury.

It's going to be absolutely huge of him. I fear he may miss the game and be ready for the grand final if we make it.

If he plays, I expect him to spend some time on the bench. Griffin won't leave him on the park any longer than necessary. We could see McCullough play 80 and Hunt come on for Locky, so hopefully the entire team come out firing and bury Manly early.

I think if he doesn't play Griffin won't change the rest of the team and just put Norman there.
I don't think Griffin plays without an interchange hooker so if Hunt is going to play 7 then Baptise will likely come into the team.

If we beat Manly without Lockyer, which I think we can do, then I would say he will definitely play in the grand final and we will win the comp. There's 9 days between prelim and the GF.

With Thaiday back and fresh, he will be Lockys protector, not only will lockyer play which is a certainty, we will win and having thaiday back is huge!
