Pretty sure Boyd put in for us when he played both club and state games. For someone without supporters apparently ,he has a career record that most first graders would die for.I don't get the animosity.

21 Games in Origin, 17 tests, 2 GF wins, Dally M, Clive Churchill Medallist, and numerous tries in Origin. He also was good enough for World Cup matches and the PMs 13. There must be an awful lot of very bad judges out there if he could be so bad and still rack a record as impressive as that.

We've already got 3 fullbacks at the club so we don't need him.

Boyd is a very good winger, but I just don't rate him as a fullback.

I don't care if Boyd has put in for us, we don't need him.

We have a fullback, we have centres, we have wingers and we have halves. We do not need that arrogant little shit.

He wasn't anything special. He was good, but he wasn't great. We have better options available.

No, they won 12 out of 24. By my calculations that is a 50% win rate, but please, do the math yourself and let me know what you get.
They won 12 lost 11and had a draw in the other match. So, I did the math and strangely I'm right and you are WRONG

Whoa...

12 wins out of 24 games is still 50% though.

I like Boyd. All this shit about him not smiling on twitter and being arrogant is crap. Pretty sure the dude doesn't like the media because they put him through crap with the Thaiday and Hunt incident, which people still give them shit about. Wasn't it consensual until someone got their phone out? Anyway, Boyd is pretty much always smiling on the field. Watch his kick returns. What has he really done to get so much hate?

Bennett's a good judge, he tried to get Hunt to Newcastle but he knocked them back so he had to come and coach here to get a decent half

He hasn't won a Dally M.

His origin tries are nothing to use to say how great he is since he pretty much did nothing in about 14 of the 17 or whatever it is. 22m is the longest he's had to run in them, and he was untouched in like 12 of them thanks to a certain G.Inglis.

a fella at my work just moved up here from Newcastle, die hard supporter/member, and he hates Boyd and said that pretty much no one down there likes him and they know he doesn't like being in Newcastle. Supposedly just broke up with his misses too, I'm guessing as soon as he saw the Bennett-symbol flashed in the air signalling he was leaving.

APs point has always been that that they only won half of their games. A 50 % win loss record which it isn't. It's 54/46 or 121/2 to 111/2 if you like. No matter how you wish to express it they won more than they lost. It is however true they won half of their matches but that's misleading when it's possible for them to be undefeated all season without winning a game ! If they won 12 from 24 and drew the rest they'd be on 36 points while still only having a 50% record ! Well according to AP they would at least. The rest of us wouldn't consider it a 50 % win loss record.

2010 Dally M Fullback of the Year. From memory, could be wrong

A winning percentage is one where you win more than you lose...you know win 12 lose 11

If you only won 12 out of 24 your win percentage is 50%. You can try and argue as much as you want but you are wrong. A draw is a draw, not a win. A win percentage is the percentage of games played that you win.

12/24 = 50%

tell me, if a team got 24 draws would you say they have a 100% win percentage?
