If Kahu was fit I would not mind seeing him at fullback and clearing Barba and Hoffman

unfortunately neither of them want to play wing ... and i want someone there that is fully committed to playing, not crying that he isn't fullback.

we'd also have the money to source another quality winger from somewhere

The options for Darius:

A) Suck it up and play on the left wing, next to Copley, which will probably be an origin pairing before too long, once Slater retires. Also gets to play under Wayne Bennett on a great roster, in his home town.

B) Go play for the Raiders, probably get more money than in Brisbane, play on an average roster, in a shitty & cold city, playing under Ricky Stuart, playing with virtually no Queenslanders excluding Papalii.

I think I know what I would pick..

not too sure why the number of qlders in his team would matter to Boyd? Only has gagai at Newcastle and he wasn't even there when he joined. If Boyd has learnt anything from Bennett, the choice will be easy

go wherever pays the most, **** everything, and everyone else

I was more-so pointing out that he'll be playing with a whole bunch of Queensland team mates in Brisbane, compared to minimal in Canberra / Newcastle, another reason to take a pay cut to come home.

I'm talking about first half of this year. He was a joke. An utter embarrassment to the knights club. I remember watching him turn and actually retreat from a bomb and thought, shit, he's given up

Oh, you mean when he was rumoured to be owed a lot of money - from a 3rd party deal that fell through because Tinkler pissed off so many local businesses. I'm sure you'd not only keep showing up to work if a huge % of your expected wage was missing, but you'd put in 110%? Forgive him if his mind was elsewhere some of the time.

This has more substance to it than most want to believe.
I hope it is true
I don't see Milford and Barba fitting into the same team and Milford wins hands down for me

Dont be surprised if Boyd ends up in tropical north qld

Raiders have a few Queenslanders. As well as Papa they have Shillington and the Lee cousins. I also doubt Boyd gives a flying **** about how many Queenslanders he plays alongside of. In fact, I doubt he gives a flying **** about... well, anything really.

I'd much rather BJ than Boyd.

Would prefer Joey Leilua too!

Funny u ask, coz my employment situation right now is very similar. I am owed upwards of 1/4 of my yearly wage by my employer. So I actually can relate. Can u? Guess I'd better chuck a darius then and act uninterested, unmotivated and might not even try anymore.

The Sydney media are already death riding him and the Broncos, just like the good old days.

Do it.

And post the results back here.

This article is on the Courier Mail website but written by Josh Massoud of the Daily Telegraph ...

it claims that Boyd is almost certain to be the Broncos fullback in 2015

and Milford's deal has suddenly become 1.5 million over 2 years instead of the reported 450k a year

Bennett himself said he was uncertain of Boyd's plan in his interview with Rothfield. Massoud seems to be the only one reporting otherwise.

You can take that article with an enormous grain of salt, he doesn't even get the name right of the pom we were supposedly after.

Making Bennett’s selection jigsaw even more complex is the fact Brisbane have also been negotiating with Hull KR custodian Greg Evans, and poached 20-year-old superstar Anthony Milford from the Raiders on a two-year deal worth $1.5 million.

His name is Greg Eden..
