Given how they let Hunt go without a replacement, we should be used to it. :P
Did the Broncs though? (I'm not being sarcastic, genuine question). I thought I read that they were offering Taylor about 500k (again can't remember if I actually read it or just made it up in my own head or even then, if I read it in the media, it was made up in someone else's head anyway) which was less than half what the GC offered him. Again, he was not worth anywhere near a million but did the Broncs really have much to offer given Boyd was still to be re-signed and on big money at that.
Not anyone unfortunatelyThat’s a little bit different, anyone was better so not much to lose there.
I'd still be taking Pearce over Taylor any day of the week. I dunno about his attitude (it doesn't seem worse than Taylor's these days), but his style of play would have fit in perfectly like a final piece of a puzzle IMO.
Yeah because Nikorima has been killing it!That’s a little bit different, anyone was better so not much to lose there.

You jest.He has been performing about the same for a **** load less.
Smith: "That's my bit of grass there. Anyone goes near it they're fucked".
Nikorima (and everyone else in league ever): o shit
Brisbane or Melbourne turf though?
Both.
On another point what was the click bait in the Curious Mail about Bird being keen to return to the paddock today?
So by my reckoning he's taken $150K hit :-) Thanks btw.firstly, they have dropped his salary back to 800k
secondly, basically saying that he is pain free for the first time in 12 months and could resume training this week, with a view to being considered for selection for the game against the Roosters.
I'll post the article shortly
