I still don't believe it. Boyd may want to return but I haven't heard WB state he wants Boyd to follow him or that we are chasing him. In fact I haven't heard WB say anything about 2015 and the Broncos

And this, Bennett lovers, is exactly why us "Bennett haters" cannot stand the idea of this washed up, past it, senile old **** coming to the broncos.

Barba and hoffman, in however mediocre form they have been this year, are playing better, show more desire and potential than boyd has this year. Barba and hoffman have made some miraculous try savers to showcase their desire to help the team. I cant remember the last time i saw Boyd put his body on the line for his team. In fact, hes often running away from hard work, literally.

A good coach does not play favourites.

It really is as simple as that. Whether it be stagg at 5/8, mcguire in the team over barnes, or boyd anywhere in the 17, bennett has shown time and time and time and time again he has favourites, and will sacrifice a better player to let his teat sucking favourite play.

Hoffman is a better fullback than boyd. Hoffman is a better winger than boyd. Barba and Milford have the potential to be a better 5/8 than boyd, at least both of them have played there recently, unlike boyd. Hoffman may be a crap 6, but hes a fantastic 1, 2 or 5. More than can be said for boyd

Boyd would not be in the top 17 at many clubs right now. He has had the worse year of his career, and the only reason he keeps getting picked for QLD is because of Inglis and Mal's loyalty. He is a sooky little prima donna, who literally has no loyalty to his club and will just go wherever his twisted father figure goes.

Simply put, this is why Bennett is a shit coach nowadays. He plays favourites and will weaken our team just so darius doesnt get sad again. Its pathetic, and i for one will not support boyd or bennett when they arrive. In fact, a season ending injury to darius would be a blessing in disguise (or not even in disguise). But by then we will have probably lost either Hoffman and / or barba and thats ludicrous.

Don't agree I'm afraid. Wayne isn't coming here to develop our youngsters. We've been doing that for 5 years now. How's it working out? I think he's looking at a 2 year premiership window, with a top four or close finish next year. Signing yet more youngsters won't bring that.

I think we'll see at least Boyd and probably Mason. Barba and Milford are both contracted and won't be going anywhere I don't think, particularly Barba.

You are seriously fucking kidding me if you think bringing boyd to the broncos is even close to a good idea. He is in the worst career of his form, and it would most likely mean we lose Hoffman, who is a better fullback and wing than boyd is.

I think there is a fair chance he won't. I think there is a fair chance he may not play league again, at least not for a while.

Checking into a mental health clinic isnt about getting chucked some pills and told to harden up, no one knows what will be happening with Boyd, much less you.

I'm sick of the meltdowns based on assumptions. We had the whole "Beau Scott will be coming"shit based on nothing, then Mason, now boyd.

Everyone carries on like Bennett loves Boyd and will take him everywhere regardless while over looking the circumstances.

Bennett looks after Bennett and does what is best by Bennett and the team he is coaching.

When Boyd followed him to the dragons it was because he was told by the broncos they didn't want him. Bennett knew he was a good player and knew he would be able to take him to st merge for cheap (you lose a fair bit of bargaining power when you openly admit your current club doesn't want you).

When he took him to newcastle he was arguable the best fullback in the game, why wouldn't he take him?

If Boyd comes back here it will be because Bennett feels that he brings something this current squad doesn't have, not because he has to bring him

Would Hoffman make QLD on the wing? No. Boyd is a better fullback and winger than Hoffman. And your argument stands for Hoffman not wanting to be on the wing either.
