Where will we finish?

The problem with playing Melbourne in the first week of the finals is they have a great record in the past decade.

9 games, 6 wins.

Since 2006, they have made it to the Preliminary final every year except for 2010, 2013 and 2014.

But then, we get another chance.

Still would have a second chance at home against one of the bottom 8, and wouldn't have to face the Storm until the Grand Final.

Exactly. Would much rather face them with a second chance than in sudden death.

Looks like we're more likely to finish 6th or 7th anyway and have to face our Achilles heel in Anthony griffin. That could be a problem....

Why can't we play Newcastle instead of Melbourne this week. Bloody.

Yeah this. I've had a play with the ladder calc and we've got a large chance of playing the Panthers in Finals Week 1.........

Despite our two losses to them, I'm not that worried. At least not compared to Storm or Cowboys.

They've been playing out of their skins and we've been sub par both times. If we continue to get our shit together, I believe we have their measure.

We're more likely to beat the Storm in the finals than what we are this Friday.

Provided that game is in the second week or preliminary final.

Yeah thats pretty much how I see it.

I don't know if the Dogs have another win left in this year against either the Cows or Rabbits. The Cows should win both of their games taking them to 34 grabbing 4th spot and I think we should win at least one which takes us to 32 therefor pushing the dogs down.

The Panthers are possible smokees and could then shove the dogs down to 7th, they have two winnable games against the Titans and Manly which gets them to 32 as well.

A win for us against the Storm will certainly be a big boost to our confidence (as well as the bookies) and set us up well for the finals.

my ladder prediction finished as:

4. Cowboys

Storm in the gf... Jesus Christ we'd all need therapy after that game win or lose.

We'd all need to be resuscitated every time a kick off goes Hunt's way...
