I don't disagree at all, but what happens to Hunt if we put him into first grade and he goes missing? For his own development, I think he'd be better off winning the NYC comp than shouldering the blame for the first grade team's loss.
Worst case scenario is Hunt gets the callup, NYC team lose and NRL team lose, and we have nothing to show for our season other than a 19 year old halfback with his confidence ruined.

All of this being said, I'm excited to see how he does, should he get picked. But if we can win a title with Shane Perry at half, we can do it with PJ Marsh in the 7.
