What the.... i don't understand... he never told the club thats it Im to good for this team Im off chasing dollars.... they said to him we used up all or money to buy Izzy, this is what we can pay you (less than what he was on). So he had to leave. If anything he came back here with his head held high, the team that didn't want him got him back.

He went poor and didn't stick out his contract and fight for a spot? Come back to his old club looking for a start and they granted it for him.

Personally if I was in his situation my head wouldn't have been held high because I would have had my head down hard at work proving I'm worhty of a spot.

[quote="Je$ter":4ig47et8]Kemp should bide his time on the wing imo. He came back here with his tail between his legs I think he has to prove he is worthy of the number 1 jersey in NRL, because imo you are only as good as your last season, and his was pretty ordinary. Give Hoffman first crack, Kemp on the wing.

1. Hoffman
2. Kemp
3. Folau
4. Hodges (someone else while he's out)
5. Yow Yeh

no love for my homie Antonio?

Totally forgot about him! Maybe fill in the centre spot? He should probably have a wing spot after his 2009 performances.[/quote:4ig47et8]

What rubbish. Je$ter you have no idea what your talking about or you haven't read any of the news article about his time at the warriors nor his comments since he's back. Do you know what happened in new zealand? and why he didn't "stick" it out? then you know something we don't. Did he come back and put his head down and work his ass off? Well according to an article he spent his time in the offseason in a boxing gym and Ivan said he came back in "fantastic nick".[/quote:4ig47et8]

Where did I say he wasn't working hard? I was responding to Tee by saying if I came back to the club I'd left I would have my head down arse up working hard to show people I've still got it and am worthy of a spot, I would be feeling pretty sheepish coming back after only 1 season and would be out to prove the doubters wrong. From what I have read Kemp has been working hard so kudos to him.

And what seemed to happen in NZ was that Kemp was in poor form in a poor team and got dropped for Kevin Locke and didn't get his spot back then wanted out. Personally I hope he goes well in Brisbane because he has got what it takes he's shown that. However my point was he shouldn't be granted a spot on his prior form for the Broncos especially with a new brigade of outside backs all pushing for spots.

sister was her username. She claimed to be his sister, if she was I dont know. And if anyone criticised TLL she would rant and rave that we didnt know anything and he was being unfairly treated.

It is pretty clear who should be Fullback in 2010 by the looks of the Poll!!! Denan Kemp FTW!!!

Not really, the majority of these votes were made prior to the trials and the injuries to Hodges and Yow Yeh, with Corey Norman stepping up and impressing so well at fullback during his time there I bet a lot of people would rethink their position.

Yes well I am the #1 Kemp Fan what am I supposed to say. I look forward to seeing Norman play hopefully he is as good as his Trial form suggests. icon_thumbs_u

I'm not against having Kemp at fullback infact I was all for it, but that was prior to Hodges injury and Yow Yeh's as well, that changes things a fair bit and having someone like Norman impress like he has I think the need to keep Kemp on the wing outweighs the need to move him there, perhaps yes look at it when Yow Yeh returns but for now I'd be looking at Norman or Hoffman in the number 1.

Yes I agree although I get side tracked with my love for Denan!!! Norman sounds like a very good prospect and with plenty of experience in the halves he could pull of the second man play with ease no doubt.

Personally if Corey Norman plays well against Redcliffe, I would like to see him take the fullback jersey. I know he has only played trials, but you want to pick players in form. The rest of the backline I would put Winterstein /Kemp on the wing and Folau and either Teo or Glenn in the centres.

1. Norman
2. Winter
3. Izzy
4. Michaels
5. Kemp

then when Hodges Yow return

1. Norman
2. Winter
3.Izzy
4. Hodge
5. Yow yeh

Sorry Kemp

If Kemp gets back to his 08 form I would have him over Winterstein.

Would be good for Kemp to hit that form for sure. But Winter and Yow are the future. Kemp needs to fight it out.

Yup, in a way Kemp is lucky that we have so many injuries at the moment. If we were at full strength it would be as simple as naming the same backline last year, with Norman or Hoffman replacing Hunt and Kemp starting off in the QCup.

Kemp could be the future too. At this point in time I'd say those 3 are equal though, as the season progresses we will see who form favours.

Wow. He leaves for a year and Kemp drops all these pegs.

Perhaps I'm alone in thinking that his 08 form for us was 10 fold what 09's wingers gave us?

But his 09 form was well below average, and there was nothing that Winterstein/Yow Yeh did that gave any reason for them to be dropped.

Moot point though - as it works out Kemp will get a starting spot on the wing and I will be delighted if he gets back to his form of 08.
