Who was better?

El Masri (queue the bias calls :P), he just had an incredible ability of being in the right place at the right time, it's a shame he didn't get to play more fullback because he was far better there than at wing.

Josh Morris or Brett Morris?

Josh. More capable of making something happen. Brett just a finisher.

Dale shearer or Kerry boustead?

Kerry Boustead, Dale Shearer was made for SOO but was inconsistent as a player at club level.

Gary Belcher or Colin Scott?

Didn't see a lot of Colin Scott, saw plenty of Belcher - rated him highly, so will go with Belcher.

Brad Thorn or Bradley Clyde?

Clyde. I loved Thorny, absolute legend and competitor. But Clyde was more skillful and just as strong a defender, and more agile laterally.

Julian O'Neill or Karmichael Hunt

As much as I hate him, Khunt was a better and more complete player...

Lewis or Lockyer?

Lockyer, because he dominated at all levels. NRL, Tests & Origin.

Lewis was great in the BRL, Tests & Origin, but not as great in the NRL.

Steve Walters or Ben Elias.

Steve Walters. Benny was good, but Walters easily better.

Brett Mullins or Michael Hancock?

Mullins

Hancock has longevity but Mullins at his best was just on another level. His ability to swerve and bamboozle defenders was great to watch and there was a period around 94-95 where he was the best attacking weapon in the game. Hancock was a handy, determined runner but was never quite the best.

Benji Marshall vs. Stacey Jones

Mullins

Han**** has longevity but Mullins at his best was just on another level. His ability to swerve and bamboozle defenders was great to watch and there was a period around 94-95 where he was the best attacking weapon in the game. Han**** was a handy, determined runner but was never quite the best.

Benji Marshall vs. Stacey Jones

Jones by a mile. Marshall has the better individual game, but Jones was a great organiser, great visionary, and wasn't as much of a turnstile in defence like Marshall.

Brett Kimmorley or Matt Orford

Noddy. Brett was one of the most important players in any team he played for and was a strong performer for NSW and Australia.

Farah V Ennis

Farah. He's much more creative and I think origin showed he's just as tough.

Scott Minto or Stuart Kelly?

Kelly. He could hold down a first grade spot and wasn't a bad player from memory. He also played Origin as well.

Nathan Blacklock V Nathan Merritt

Blacklock. He didn't play for Souffs.

Darren Lockyer vs Billy Slater.

Lockyer. Dominated two positions and was inspirational every time he took the field.

Ewen McGrady or Brent Sherwin?

Lockyer, best in the world in two positions and IMO Lockyer at his peak is equal if not better to Slater at fullback.

Thurston vs Smith?

Smith - Hands down. While Rhurston is great, he can have a poor game from time-to-time. However, Smith rarely has a bad game.

Anthony Mundine or Brett Finch?

Brett Finch, although my dislike of Mundine may toil my view...

Ben Barba or Matty Bowen?
