World Club Series Team

Yeah I saw that, but I had a chat with Chris Garry tonight and this is what he said about Herman Ese'ese.

The recruitment staff think he will be there rd 1 cause he can off load at will. One referred to him as Arthur Beetson like in terms of ball playing ability. The Broncos need another ball playing middle forward. I think ofa and Herman will battle for one spot all year if the squad is fully fit.

Well interesting to see how it plays out then Danoz Direct, I hope though if he does make the side it isn't at Joe's expense, he wasn't expected to be apart of the 2015 side, but he handled himself well, never looked out of his depth and would like to see that opportunity continue for him.

So do I, but I really do rate Ese'ese.

Although I agree he is a talent I just don't see him taking Wallace's spot straight away. With his age and now experience it's pretty much now or never for Wallace to kick on and reach his potential and he deserves to at least start the season in the 17.

It is a hard choice however and not the mention right behind them for election would be arrow although he probably needs some time in the QLD cup

Not really a fair comparison given that Joe played 14 games and received limited game time compared to Wallace, Joe more then held his own in his debut season for the club. Wallace has improved but it's fair to say that Joe has made a more impressive mark already then the three season's Wallace has had prior to 2015.

According to Chris Garry Herman Ese'ese and Sam Scarlett are only training with us, they are actually contracted to Souths Logan not us.

Beaten by Big Pete but yeah not actually in our squad.

Same as Griffin and Anderson last year; they need to get a contract.

If Ese'ese is as good as most think, he will get a contract and then him, Wallace and Thaiday can battle it out for the bench spots outside of Kikorima and Joffa. Joffa needs to be shown faith as he was very good in the back-end of last year and is the type of prop we should be building our forward pack around.

As if Thaiday is not locked in. He's a test incumbent.

He'll have his day. Still very young. Yet to fully develop.

Thaiday and wallace will be guaranteed 17ers. You don't throw away match experience to the scrap heap when players are still doing their job for the team. Especially when you're considering Thaiday is a QLD and International player.

I think people just get bored with our long serving players on our roster and watch too much u20s, see a new talent and go, yep, him, he's a star. And while it may be true that one day they'll be great, they have to pay their dues. They have to learn from the seasoned players who have been through it all.

Match experience is invaluable. Bennett knows this. You don't want to stack a team full of rookies.. Look at what's happening with the tigers. . Farrah is a poor leader. He clearly isn't having the right effect on the younger players, giving the captaincy to someone else was a good move. He's a very selfish player / personality from what i can tell. But that's just my opinion.

Experience matters

Just saying what should happen, I'm not saying I would play Ese'ese, I actually wouldn't. I also agree Thaiday should be in the team BUT if the final bench spot comes down to Joffa and Wallace only getting one spot, as much as I like Wallace and think he does not get the credit he deserves, I would definitely go with Joffa as his potential upside coupled with what he has already done is HUGE.

From what I am hearing from people about what people inside think of him Ese'ese will be in the 17 round 1.

No, from credible sources, but good try.
