3 props on the bench. Thaiday will likely spend time in the back row. Possibly even starting there come game day with Gillett dropping off to the bench?

Ummm, why????

dont think they'll change the starting side, its been working pretty well. will either just mean high prop rotation to provide maximum impact for 80 mins or give someone a rest in the back row in the 2nd half. i'd like them to do this, only if its clear they need a rest. if glenn gillett and parker dont need a rest then i dont think they should give them one just for the sake of it.

From a forward perspective I think the starting side and the bench selections are correct, people were complaining about our lack of quality in our prop rotation, since the storm game its been probably our biggest asset(some will say our attack in the backs but thats been built on the hard and quality work being dished out by our forwards) and thats without McGuire too. Glenn, Gillett and Parker offer 80 minute options and plenty of options in attack for us, this allows us to have a better prop rotation for the whole of the match and that can only be a good thing(take Hala in last weeks game, he only played a short period of the game sure, but it was pretty good quality and given his run of injuries over the years thats a good sign), I don't see Griffin changing things up tbh in the forwards.

Just because a player can play 80 minutes doesn't mean they should.

I'm still not sold on Gillett as an 80 minute player, his form thus far has been fairly inconsistent and perhaps he might be more effective in shorter bursts than being stretched over 80.

I have similar concerns with Thaiday and to an extent Glenn.

Will be watching this game on the NRL full games youtube channel Gran doesn't have foxtel.

Gillett has been on the Redcliffe books before so not surprised to see you criticise him.

Putting that aside though, he's one of our best attacking weapons and can play 80 minutes and is in good form, no idea why you would bench him based on what we have seen so far this season.

Thaiday has been going better since our bench went prop heavy, no need to change that.

Yet again, don't fix it if it ain't broke

Hate to break it to you but the only person who cares about which Queensland Cup each player represents is you.

His form is inconsistent. Good one week vs. the Titans, ordinary the next against the Cowboys. He performs well in patches which leads me to believe stints off the bench would not be a bad idea.

I know I'm the only one who cares, doesn't mean i can't use it to have a go at you!

His game against the Cowboys wasn't bad though by any means. No reason to bench him as he has improved greatly from last season and considering his potential he can certainly get better. No need to disrupt that.

Go for your life dude. Just find it sad that you can't see that it reflects more on you than it does me.

Matt's performance wasn't good either hence he's inconsistent. I believe it's no coincidence his best performances have come on the back of performances he's spent time on the bench and I believe he's the type of player who'd benefit from a stint every now and then.

Time will tell.

I dont think it reflects on either of us to be honest because i doubt anyone cares.

Time will tell as you say.

It's reflecting on me and it's impacting my sex life because I'm seeing reflections of you two flapping your e-peens around and that's rendering me impotent. Stop it.

Sorry about that Coxy. Im not trying to make things hard for you.

On paper we should win this one well. Tigers without plenty of players while we are at full strength. Our forward pack should just smash theirs and hopefully our halves are good enough to put on a few tries.
