We were just going to give it to one main mod on there that has been abusing and banning anyone who even suggests barba is leaving. Was going to say the same thing. It's not really to give it to the Bulldogs fans in general. There are a couple of know-it-all Nazi's there that need taking down a peg or two. I think a few of us have the ability to remove said pegs ;)

Why would you get a warning? We are still on the topic of Barba since this requires him to actually sign which at this point is all just speculation and rumour.

I just find it silly to wanna 'give it to' a mod on another forum based on one of their players signing with us, you don't need to go on there saying "We are from BHQ" because just like we have all been looking at their forum for information they will no doubt be doing the same here.

Well I'm not going there to represent BHQ, I'm going there as myself, harmless fun :) I'd have no problem if people from the Kennel jumped onto the forum and called me out if I was calling Bulldogs fans delusional morons and acting as if there's no doubt in the world Ennis would ever leave only for him to sign a few months later, as long as they joined the forum, didn't break the rules and conducted themselves with respect, then why not? Forums are for discussion, there's plenty of forums out there where lots of oppositions fans mix it up. Nothing wrong with banter between opposition fans, it's what makes sports rivalries. There's a difference between being a disrespectful douche and calling someone out for some harmless fun.

It creates a negative image for a forum that I'm a regular on, it's childish and all it does is prove the other sides fans right with their thought that the Broncos are a spoilt self centred club with arrogant fans.

Did we have Bulldogs fans here when they signed Ennis, Stagg, Eastwood and Hannant in pretty much one swoop? Did Giants and Suns fans flood the forum laughing when we lost Izzy and Hunt?

Arrogance isn't a pretty thing and if it's encouraged on a forum I'm not keen to continue using it.

Firstly, welcome to the forums mate!

I think it's standard stuff and I agree we should pay compensation, we did for Hannant so why not for Barba?

With Hannant it wasn't a cash payment but it was something along the lines of when the Bulldogs play us in Suncorp we give them 10/20/30,000~ tickets which they incorporate into their memberships, i.e 12 home games + a free ticket to the Bulldogs V Broncos game at Suncorp. I don't think they ever released the exact amount of tickets but the Bulldogs had some extra incentive to sell their memberships for a few years, last I checked their memberships for this year included that deal as well so they got a good benefit from it.
